If u cant beat the part to kill the cube shaped aliens before they blow you up to acquire the gordle pun, put god mode in the main menu and you wont die but make sure you still kill every alien, or else it wont let you advance
Can you keep secrets weapons after finding them in NG + ? Because i find the Bow in my first game but i can't keep it (it just can be used to kill the enemy wave that appear after you find it).
I somehow lost the key after going back some chapters to unlock a missed gun. Is there anything that can be done once I reach the place it's required in?
new game plus is just the normal game but you have everything you had when you beat the game at the beginning of the game so like: weapons, upgrades and stuff like that

I haven't watched any playthroughs and when they offered me the drink I threw it to the floor and killed all the guards (barely they are really difficult) but the game was just softlocked until I went back to the checkpoint. And when I tried killing the other one at the gate it didn't do anything and they just shot the other one and made me go with the church.
i lost the key because the heartfruit replaced my inventory space and i noticed when i was 2 chapters ahead, i gotta do everything again

I´m pretty sure you have to get the key all the way to fish level
So they key disappears out of your inventory if you have any mutators on
I dont have mutations on but it dissapeared at the start of the sea level

I took the gorilla pun but right after i got back from the "dream", when i switched gun it simply vanished from my inventory
When you use the inventory, press and hold the trigger and it will show the secret weapons
I noticed this too. I think special inventory items disappear if you have any mutators on
