Love seeing the fighter's point of view, coming up the steps into the arena and in the ring looking around.
From the time I've spent in Bulgaria and from what I have seen about how intimidating "heavies" assert their control and get what they want by whatever means necessary, I can very well imagine where Pulev fits into that society. He can be quite an entertaining guy but at the same time his behaviour and demeanour tell you a lot; when he forced himself on Jenny Ravalo at ringside and planted that smacker on her lips, he was most likely just behaving in a way that is allowed to behave in his own country. These attempts to intimidate or unsettle Joshua are part of his behaviour pattern. I don't know what Joshua told him but I hope it was to turn it back on him, i.e. that he was trying to boost his own confidence. If anything, instead of having the desired effect of rattling Joshua, it should make him even more determined to put it aside on the night and focus intensely on his own game plan (whether that means outboxing Pulev or taking his head off in the first couple of rounds). He showed in Ruiz II that he can stick to a plan under pressure. For all his thuggery, and his spoiling tactics against Chisora, Pulev is no slouch, he is a skilled boxer and has only lost to Klitschko, so this is not going to be a pushover but I think Joshua stops him in the mid to late rounds.
It's definitely a huge cultural difference. Which I think people can underestimate.
I have the same outcome as you, but would be totally lying if I didn't say I was worried.
I think Joshua's been in the game, and been through enough this past year or so not to let these tactics work.

i am pretty neutral as a dutch guy....i like both fighters, but i would give the edge to fury, tyson always under performs against lower opponents and shines in the big fights, i also give him the technical and boxing brain advantage, but i wouldn't count out AJ out if they would fight, he has the power and the combination punches advantage .....
