He accepted the same terms on rematch clauses himself in matches as recent as Loma vs Campbell and that was also a mandatory. It’s him doing a good job as if he didn’t have it and Joshua lost a lot more people would lose respect for him.

Say what you want about Matchroom, but in terms of putting on events during COVID and creating this environment for fighters as well as access for the fans. They are miles ahead of any other promotion company
I don't think Matchroom have been that impressive comparitive to other outlets. The only thing they have managed to do a fair bit of more than other firms is roll out undeserving PPV shows. Top Rank and Queensbery have both been putting on decent fights. The UFC puts them all to shame - Matchroom's Covid efforts are miniscule in comparison.
@@gafpb agree some of fights haven’t been amazing. My comment was more looking at bubble they create for fighters and access they give to the fans of behind the scenes and not just a fight night. The extra stuff is what they are strong at
@@gafpb lately matchroom shows been shocking your right jacobs rosado was horrible and ritson vazquez was shocking. But to be honest the fight camp in the garden was decent.. that povetkin uppercut was the punch of the year after summer fight camp the shows just got weaker smh. Campbell vs garcia will be a good card so at least 2021 starts with something interesting.
The US promoters have copied a lot from Hearn, yet Hearn can't be touch. That is why he receive so much hate in the US.
@@davidhawkins2819 Sorry I just don't see them being particularly strong at that more than any other promotional outfit. Having watched other outlet's promotions closely, Matchroom aren't doing anything remarkably different to the others in terms of behind the scenes access. Again, the UFC in that particular area is lightyears ahead of Matchroom.
Oh yeah this was the live workout where we watched AJ get his hands wrapped for an hour expecting some pad work only for sky to turn it off.

@@jamesburrell677 I never said I was an expert. You straight up asserted that Matchroom is number 1 and when I invited you to give examples of the better shows you declined. I personally thought fights like Lomachenko vs. Lopez, Dubois vs. Joyce, Spence vs. Garcia, Crawford vs. Brook, etc. were infinitely more meaningful match-ups than the two 'marquee' shows Matchroom has put on (Chisora vs. Usyk and Whyte vs. Povetkin). When you see how accomplished the UFC has been in promoting and keeping their shows going (week in week out), it makes you realise how full of it Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn are, and how utterly clueless the average UK boxing fan is at being robbed blind.

Glass temple ? .. you clearly know nothing about fighting .. even the most iron chinned boxers once you get caught flush to the temple your whole motor-coordination is fried and you lose control of your legs. (Hence how AJ’s legs stiffened up after the Ruiz hook). So we all got glass temples if you want to call it that.
@@dloso8374 Yeah it's a good point but not totally accurate. The output of force on the temple to make the person's motor coordination fried could vary with each individual based on skull desnity and tissue thickness, etc. So while we might all be predisposed to getting stiff legs when we're cracked on the temple, some of us might need to be cracked harder than others to get a stumble.

Got to be honest, I've followed AJ from.amitures and prob knew him before Hearn. But AJ as done hiself no favours this year. Out on a pandemic lockdown, encouraging others. And the words he said, off a script fair enough, sounded raciest..And has Fury said, if he said same thing as AJ, he would of been lynched. Joshua as lost and upset alot of his fans. And I and many others want to see him get beat. It will not be Pulev, to old. And stylistically perfect for Joshua....
