Ok not the same situation but the same vibe in elementary school we had an hour of creative writing but for that entire hour I had what I now know as writers block and just sat there trying to come up with something anything to write but nothing came to mind one of the older teaching assistants told me that I couldn’t eat lunch that day if I didn’t write anything down now not only do I not know what to write I now have 10 minutes to write something down or else I guess I’m going to go hungry until I get home I was in the 4th grade
We had the opposite problem, the the smoke alarm would get very confused but we would always leave because better safe than sorry. One time a staff member came in yelling "FIRE! FIRE!" because there was smoke that wasn't getting picked up.
It turned out to be smoke from one of those electronic cigars that had become a fad with the students because they *technically* weren't smoking tobacco. Regardless, this incident got them banned.
It really baffles me how e cigs seem to have exactly every single downside of normal cigarettes, but also with a few more just to keep the lawyers off their backs
@@amiablereaper you actually made me worried enough to look if they really do contain tobacco or not (thankfully not) because not only were the highschoolers using them in closed areas like the bus, they were also rude enough to blow the smoke directly at me because they found it amusing. I would not have been happy to have turned out to be a second-hand smoker just because someone thought it would be a funny joke.
@@jvts8916 First problem: There are so many different producer and flavors, that it is impossible to tell what they contain and how honest that particular brand is about certain things. 2nd: While they don't contain tobacco, most of them DO contain nicotine and the exact amount also varies widely. 3rd: Regulations just can't keep up with this shit, so write which ever politician you can that they should get of their arse and do something about it!
