Even with a thin sole you want to make sure to have a balanced shoe! Hot fitting even a thin sole is acceptable because you're not removing a significant amount of sole!

should the farrier burn a thin soled hoof ??

i am told that a thicker sole if you pad them for 3 or four shoeing??and should i also pad the hind foot as well???
