As much as I wanted to breast-feed, I had lots of problems getting my baby to latch on successfully. There were many times I called a little Leche league, leader, crying, and she help me so much! I would never have been able to breast-feed without the Leche league, helping me overcome the specific difficulties that I had.

Well done! As a dad I could see the struggles my wife did and I applaud you. Being a mom is way harder than a dad, but I try my best with my kids

An amazing thing is that when the baby nurses, the nipple picks up what germs the baby may have been exposed to and responds with specific antibodies!
Oh you just said this! It’s so wonderful. When I was Nursing about 40 years ago, my friends and family got a little tired of hearing about all the wonders of breast-feeding. lol 😊

I had no idea of the problems and issues involved in breastfeeding. I am thankful that I pushed through the pain. He is correct that more education education is needed.
Regarding vaccines I disagree 100%. Look into the studies for yourself.

I also thought it was fascinating to learn that breastmilk is similar to the components of human blood without the red color.🤗❤️🤗

37 years ago when my youngest child was 6 months old, my other two children and my husband got chicken pox when my oldest brought it home from 1st grade. I had it as a child. I was nursing the 6 month old and though she got it, she only had one spot and wasn’t very sick. Several years later she was exposed again and played with a child throughout the course of the disease. She was immune and never got it. I’m assuming my breast milk protected her.

Let's get plastic out of our blood and human milk. Is that a pipedream?

Didn't help me at all. I was born Starving! Idiot military drs at 2 diff bases in 2 States couldn't diagnose me. Parents then took me to a Civilian dr, who quickly diagnosed me as starving, got me on Formula and by 18 months i was up to the Weight i was supposed to be. Was always weaker though than the guys i grew up with
    worldwide. 😮😢
