After Johnny, Conan was always my favorite talk show host. He was never mean or a partisan hack. Conan was simply funny and a great entertainer. His moment on that Spanish Soap opera is legendary, the Queso Salesman.
Conan was never funny, and a lousy, witless, entertainer. You could always tell he was trying very hard, but never did quite make it. Frequently it was obvious the guests were laughing *at* him, and not _with_ him.
I loved when Conan said they were going to start off with a song written a few years ago by AUSTIN BUTLER! Austin was the definitive Elvis in Baz Luhrmann’s “ELVIS”! 👍
