Christopher Walken sure is multi-talented, and a lifelong Elvis fan. It was nice of him to remind us of the 1957 show filmed here, when Elvis' well-covered but shaking hips were censored from public view. Yes, the theatre has come a long way since then, and has seen things that would make Ed Sullivan blush!
Everytime I see him, Mr. Walken gives an impression of someone with a very kind and gentle soul. And he is fully aware that his manner of speaking makes other people laugh at him but he doesn't seem to mind.
They are not laughing at him, they are laughing with him. Walken knows full well his quirkiness is an endearing quality, part of his appeal. Why would he mind it?

Christopher Walken is without a doubt one of the best actors of all time ever and who would have known he one of the best dancers as well !!! He's a very unique personality and I bet he would be a real cool person to talk to he's probably got some pretty cool stories to tell and as a side note his voice or accent or the way he talks is so unusual and unique nobody else talks like him the way he does that's probably another reason why he's such a great actor because he acts great but he's a one of a kind vocally !!! He seems like a pretty cool dude !!!

Yes. There wasn’t much to see here of him “channeling” Elvis my dfavorite popular entertainment star of all time. I met ChristopherWalken in 1983 after I had been on a recording session for Billy Joel with my then all female string band that I played with “String Fever” + other record daters. When he asked me my name and I said “Natalie” he looked like he was going to fall off his bar stool as this was just a few months after the terrible tragedy of the drowning accident of Natalie Wood whom he had been with, on the boat when that occurred. We spoke and I was asked to take a walk with him in Central Park but refused. He was a gentleman and walked me home though. Nice guy and great actor.
Walkin has charisma but it’s a special kind called quirky charisma, Jeff Goldblum has that also.

Indeed. That meeting with his gang after paroling was a great moment in the film. Laurence Fishburne's offering Walken a drink of his soda and Walken's response is a memorable moment in the film.

Everyone should definitely watch the Fatboy Slim video "Weapon of Choice" if they haven't before. It's worth watching just to see Walken dance. But also, its actually a good song.

I have seen many times, it is actually a great song, and perfect fit for Walken. What a uniquely gifted guy, has made a whole career out of his being completely weird and different from everybody else. Genius? Maybe, or just seems like he's being himself, and it just works. Love that dude.

Either Dave or Fatboy Slim screwed up big time by not agreeing to whatever was asked to include a clip of the video. massive missed opportunities for both involved but mostly the guy who isn't Dave. Dave was too cheap or lazy or busy being a big shot to bother using the proper music. I'm a fan of Dave and Fatboy Slim. Paul is a competent professional. I'd have been entertained by his rendition of the track Walken danced to. I like Walken's moves. They're unfamiliar yet extremely human. He is relatable. And yet I fear him.
Seriously, though, the way that this has been edited screams "dave ain't got any class" which is untrue as we both know. For your sake I post this comment, Dave. You see the big picture and then show it on TV to the rest of us. God bless Phylo Farnsworth and David Leaderman

When you go and look at younger photos of Walken, he actually looks quite a bit like Elvis.

I've seen him on stage doing Shakespeare in Stratford, CT. He's very talented, for sure. Terrific sense of humor, and quite genuine.
