Very Cool Magneto Figure! Magneto is one of my favorite Villain in the Marvel Universe.
Despite Erik not being friends with Charles Xavier until later on in other X-MEN comic issues Magneto is definitely the best villain to the X-MEN besides Apocalypse and Sentinels being the most so..
scariest, and toughest ones to beat, I only have the AOA Magneto but I will get this 97 Magneto to use as a Jim Lee comic version.
Cool figure but no separate head or effects and a more expensive price
yeah I don't get why this guy didnt get anything other than swappable hands yet both Wolverine and Gambit got packed with a ton of stuff, really gave Magneto the shaft with this release

I passed on magneto and wolvie because i have the vhs and the collosus wave and im happy with those. I may get magneto if I see him in the wild because I like the purple cape better than the red one.
Lacks accessories like Storm
I got two of these magnetos and it has not disappointed me at all . The ankles on mines doesn't got the problems you had with yours . Its actually more durable then you think so don't worry about it mines was a lot stiffer then your magneto figure on the ankles i loosen them up no problems . You just force it and don't worry it wont break . but it's a good figure. In my opinion its far better then the ones we had before . Actually i think that the wolverine and magneto figures of this wave are the best ones . The ankle part is just nitpicking to much. Its worth getting it . Its a fun figure to play with .my nephew loves the figure. And it never broke . Most figures when you look on the back of its ankle its going to loo like slippers. Whether its noticably big or not. .so its no problem..
Man... you are right about the height difference. Mangneto is no slouch. He shouldn't be the same height as Wolverine. I have this figure, I haven't opened him yet because I really like the packaging lol but seeing the flaws...I just may keep him packaged lol also, its bizarre that they didn't add any effects either. Hasbro needs to start putting accessories. Great review.
I personally don't unbox most of my collection, unless it's a 2 or more pack or a BAF. That said I do have 26 lose figures and 62 on card figures getting close to 100 figures total in my collection. I also have 22 smaller scale statues mostly Kotobukiya bishoujo ones but I also have a Vampirella that is the 3rd of 1969 made.

I was looking forward to this figure, but it sure came short literally in everything. No special effects and the back of the feet looks like he's wearing crocs. For a main character of the show he sure got the short end of the stick.

Can the helmet be removed?
No. But the other Magneto has two head sculpts and they fit pretty well on this one if you want a helmet less Magneto.

This is easily the worst figure so far. I don't like Magneto's head sculpt either. Something about it throws the whole thing off. The hands and feet are too small. The feet look like slippers. Magneto is too short. The cape sits too loose. The figure lacks accessories. At least the review was enjoyable as always. Thanks, Spot! I really appreciate it! God bless and stay safe!
Magneto is small and his legs and hands are tiny.
This figure could have been better. Too short in height. Those funny looking feet (it definitely looks like it's wearing slippers). Also, if they bothered including an unmasked head with Wolverine, why not an unhelmeted head with Magneto as well?
His torso looks too short and possibly his legs.
