Morgan, if you have the opportunity, you have to go to the Monaco GP! They race around the streets and it's one of the most historic ones, full of glamour and cool things to do

@@moorrgs see Monaco is great for sights but racing not so much. if you want to see the sport at its best go spa, Monza, Brazil. your really see how, exciting this sport can be. Saying that Monaco Qualifying is the best Saturday of the year.
Its my dream to watch F1 in Monaco! Do they increase the prices for Hotels in Monacco during the racing weekend too? Where do you recommend to sit, best seat for watching race in Monaco ?
@@jacksalami9945 yeh there are package delas they do but it cost a fair bit, swimming pool chicane is apparently really good.
@@jacksalami9945 Monaco is not usually "cheap" ; now imagine the prices when one of the most prestigious GPs goes there... And @moorrgs probably already has a few tips on Monaco since there´s a tennis masters 1000 there ;)
You should start by doing what suggested above. Try Monza first. My little sisters went F1-mad after Drive to Survive and they loved Monza.
One of the things I love about you is that you really research things whether it’s the culture of where you’re going to visit, how to speak the language so you can order a coffee or about a new sport.
Yes influencers do get a bad rep when attending F1 races because they either don’t follow the sport or know nothing about it where as with you, you take the time to research and more influencers should do that!

The most incredible race, last year 440,000 tickets sold across the 4 days and you’ll get to watch the Supercars, too! The best/ most historic races are Monaco, Spa(belgium), Silverstone(UK) and Monza (italy)- Some extra personal faves are Brazil and Japan. The more you know and watch the more the obsession will grow!!

I see no one mention but Zandvort in Holland is supper fun to attend. People are dancing and singing almost the entire time, it's like a huge party. Also the acces to the track is very good and easy to get to

You're great at people reading. LV and Monaco get hate from purist because of celebs but also in Monaco the streets are narrow, it's usually more of a parade, a myth, no "wow" race itself. . there is basically no opportunity for overtaking, no crazy corner cutting, that's why purist prefer the atmosphere and races when anything can happen, drivers can show off their skills and risk-taking and you're really "in" the action which makes for great watching!
Monaco GP is one of the best ! Always a great time there

I hate people trying to gatekeep things, you should be able to enjoy the sport even though you're new to it! I went to my first race back in 2008 so I've followed the sport for many years, im glad more people are getting in to it.
I will say, don't watch drive to survive with the intention of learning about f1... its very entertaining but also very misleading.

In case you need any recommendations for future Las Vegas trips, my personal favorite restaurants are: Egg Slut, Pressed Juicery, Nacho Daddy, Bardot Brassiere, Toca Madera, Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant and Lounge, and Mayfair Supper Club. My favorite hotels include: Aria, Vdara (no casino floor for a more casual trip), and the Nobu Hotel. Other fun things in and around Las Vegas include: Maverick Helicopters (great flights to the Grand Canyon and over the Strip) and the Neon Museum.

I loved F1 when I was a kid, but it's become somehow boring for me as there is always one person winning and there's almost no competition. I also watched MotoGP as a kid, it's pretty much F1 with motorbikes that go 330 km/h and (to me) it's so much more exciting as the season hasn't ended and it's still not decided who will be world champion 🥰

Drive to survive is fake, with teamradios moved to different times make fake rivalrys and all that, i dont even watch it anymore. It was cool when it came out because of the fact that its my favorite sport and its a series about it. But over 1,5 seasons of drive to survive i stopped because it isnt the truth formula 1

all the suggestions are nice but tbh i hope you check out nascar one day!! whilst i've watched f1 for a while now (9 years) i've never actually attended a grand prix so i don't know how nice it really is to be at one.
that can't be said about nascar, tho. i got into it almost 20 years ago as a kid and still watch. unfortunately i don't think there are as many amenities at the track, as nascar is more about the racing rather than the spectacle, but they do make up for it with the on-track product.
**for context, f1 in 2023 had 3 different winners in 23 races, whilst nascar in 2023 had 15 different winners in 36 races**
