I discovered NIN rather late, but better late than never, and they are awesome.
Man, what an incredible guitarist and artist Robin is. To be able to play in two legendary bands and play such different styles...a true "rock n' roll" hall of famer indeed.
This is the best I've heard NIN play out of all their 2013-14 concerts.
Just loose and fun with energy from all of them.
We're so incredibly fucking lucky that an artist as important as Trent Reznor is still alive let alone giving us perfect IMO performances.
I just love the way they started this concert... Pure music, the minimalistic production, at first, that grew up to a fully sound and light event. But those first minutes, for me, it was like telling people: fuck big screens and shit we dont need them to have a brutal performance.
I was just noticing how the opening of this show could easily have been performed by the "Evil Kraftwerk."
I caught this tour and it was great but this show seems to have some extra NIN/Trent oomph to it. Fantastic Show!! 2021 and Trent ain't slowing down, still innovative, and still feels like he's always just getting started. Musical genius doesn't go away! Pure Brilliance!!

Reznor and co. always impress live.. saw them once on the US tour with this stage set and it was mind blowing.. all 7 times I've seen NIN live so far have been amazing..
I was at this show... and if that weren't enough to make y'all envious lol it was my FIRST NIN show ever. At this time I was 27 years old and had been an admirer of Trent for quite some time. NIN's set this Sunday night was after another major pop artist on a different stage (I forget who it was), and a LOT of people at the festival left. So my partner and I moved right up front for this NIN set and I was literally a changed person afterward lol. I was a little bit drunk and it was hot out, so I was stripping off my clothes and just freeing myself in a way I had never experienced before. I will never forget it. I'm so happy this is on the Internet for all to experience.
This is really good concert, had to say - their best. Tremendous setlist, lots of energy in music and TR going all out!

I think their '08 Light In The Sky tour was perfection but I agree, this deserves more views and their crowd that night SUCKED.

@@corvusclimbs2166 Agreed, Lights in the Sky was astounding. The indoor shows from this tour had a much more elaborate and impressive production, though, and were definitely on par with LITS. Hands-down, those were the best 2 tours I've seen in my 20+ years of going. Man, I can't wait for this pandemic to end so we can go back to shows!

I know that there is so much more great material thruout the later dated shows/tours than what’s found on the earlier shows/tours.... BUT(!) it’s a hard argument when it comes to the Downward Spiral tour/shows of ‘94/‘95 on where you find the very best NIN live performances.... Actually an argument can be made for many shows found thruout The Fragile tour of 2000 as well to tell ya the truth!
Sanctified sounds much better during the Tension tour when they have Pino Palladino playing bass IMO...

Was lucky enough to catch NIN at the Barclays Center last October. Great set. This concert here though has my dream setlist. Definitely agree that the crowd looks comatose. Lollapalooza Argentina! Now those fans were rocking out like it was the mid 90s. Definitely worth watching that set. Picture quality is average, but sound is good provided you have decent external speakers.
Been there, NIN + QUOTSA were best ever :)

Couldn't disagree more. While I do miss the jumpy bassline, I think the reworked version has such a smooth build that it works great with the lyrics.

Trent is using a Gibson Memphis es-335 studio dot here.
Justin (the bass player) is using a Fender Precision, Gibson SG and a Les Paul Custom.
Robin used a multitude of guitars during the show. Most of which were Gibson Les Pauls. You can find more of what he uses in the rig rundown that was done with them in 2018. Granted, some stuff has changed since then.
Ilan is endorsed by, and I think part of, Q Drum Co. and uses their kits live with DW hardware and Zildjian cymbals, mostly K’s.
Synths I don’t know a whole lot about and they’re also not very visible, so I couldn’t tell you anything about that. I think Alessandro did a synth rig rundown which you can find here on youtube.
Hope this helps and someone with more synth knowledge will add to the stuff I mentioned.

Crowd was pretty terrible. I bought someone's passes just to see NIN and could immediately tell it was mostly a rap/EDM crowd. Most of the kids around me were shocked that I seemed to know all the words to these songs, primarily because everyone there be seemed to be between 14-19 years old.

Omg Robin messed terribly the end of Gave Up... he was amazing during the 90’s and 00, but after watching Aaron, Jeordie and Josh, every live incarnation does not live to the standards. Just my 2 cents.... there’s just no energy to their shows these days.

Sanctified was one of my least favorite songs from them.
I think sanctified is a pretty good song but I think whenever Pino is playing bass on it the song is a thousand times better.
