You cannot make a good mix with a bad recording. When the recording is good, the mix will naturally sound great. A good recording includes - proper gain staging, free from noise, proper mic and mic placement, correct recording settings such as sample rate, etc. I can never magically make a bad recording sound awesome by processing. It will only make it worse. Now it’s your turn ! Tell me one important tip for getting a good mix 👇
Take your studio monitors to the Motta Maadi( terrace )and mix it there as there is no wall and any area for the sound to hit back and return back low frequency like 20 hz wave length size is 58 feet imagin we mix it in a small room just 5 feet the sound is squeezed really hard.. even though you use aqustic in your room you require half of 58 feet to get accurate depth and punch of low ends .. learning the fundamentals of sounds like this will help you to improve our mix .. the foundation of how sound works how it travels etc .. are the most and first important think we need to understand... Before diving into plugginss...
I am having tough time, in getting proper ear sweet master.. if you could guide me with LP stock plugins.. to come up with a mastering chain. It will be of help.
