Imagine being told you can buy tomatoes from a store with your tomato card, but dont you dare grow tomatoes. 🤔
A great way to put it
Easy fix. Just grow it anyway. There's no way the government could ever know lol
Fun fact, many people including myself (legally) buy edibles in a place where it's illegal, but edibles are legal by a technicality. Even better, it's manufactured in Florida, shipped from Texas. Stupidly ironic
Here in Louisiana they changed it to where you can have half an oz and if you are caught you pay $100 and it doesn't stack and no jail time, anything over that they prosecute you to the fullest, so you can pay to have it if you get caught, just don't have too much of it or we will ruin your life, the US government in action.

As someone who has had multiple non violent marijuana related offenses in my life, I'm happy to see a change occur in my lifetime.
It has made my life harder in some instances but hasn't lessened me as a person in any aspect.
I just wish more politicians would open their eyes to a new way of thinking.
As for the small vs big company I feel each have their role respectively but over taxation and regulation is just a sign of pure greed on something easy, these are our elected officials.
Well said bro you are speaking facts 💯
@Just Justin: "I just wish..." What did all your wishing do for you when you arrested in the past?
Justin, none of what you see is about the arguments of right vs wrong. It's all about power and money. And the politicians are taking both sides of that away from all of us.
Read my comment above!
@@fritzsmith3296 nothing has changed in the instance of politician seeking out more power and money.
Granted wishing didn't physically do anything for me at that time it does lead to an optimistic outlook.
I feel each side must be viewed and taken into consideration. We know the government is slow to respond to anything less than a war and natural disasters. It will always be the case.
I couldn't agree more with the undoing of criminal charges against marijuana related offenses. That is a step in the right direction but I fear to hear what had to be given up to get to that point.
They are all smoking weed 💙🇺🇸 all the politicians 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🤪
The big companies should only be allowed to pump out wax and edibles and leave the flower to the smaller groups who actually take the time to do it right, I’d much rather have flower that wasn’t made in rockwool send all the boof to get processed

People can get multiple DUIs and still be driving. Yet you can get years just for possessing weed in some states. Its criminal that something so deadly is legal and something so healthy in multiple ways isn't.
No one with multiple DUI's will be driving legally. You lose your license pretty quick. You will also get a DUI if you are High.

Oh yeah

I’m surprised a lot of people still don’t know that thc edibles are legal in every state already. Congress redefined the amount of thc allowed in edibles to be based off the total weight of the product and not the total thc content. You can legally get edibles with the same amount of thc that dispensaries are allowed to offer in almost any state. Recreational8 has a full list of where it's legal but it's just about every state.
Yup I was going to comment the same thing. I don't live in a legal state but the edibles are still allowed surprisingly. For people in states like mine it has really been a gamechanger
As a Texan I have noticed it starting to get more popular around here. Like you said, the lab tests are most important since some companies don't test for heavy metals etc.. but as long as they have the tests for all their products on their website then it's a great alternative to the black market.
Been a fan of recreational8 since they have shipped to my state since 2020
Flower is also legal now. A lot of people don't know or understand what THCa hemp flower is. It's a type 1 thca dominant flower. All natural. Try it!
I dont like delta8
I stopped watching this when they started showing federal agents ripping cannabis plants out of the ground. Absolutely heartbreaking. I can't even watch it, it just makes me angry.
You know all those agents went out after their raid and drank a bunch of alcohol with no designated drivers. Probably also fed their faces on a bunch of artery clogging bar food....both more harmful than ingesting some weed

Don't be fooled. There is a new war on drugs. It is the war on street vendors who've been supplying us with GREAT QUALITY, GREAT QUANTITY AND GREAT PRICE for YEARS! The new dispensaries is the government trying to cut in on the street vendors as everyone knows the dispensaries sell weed for DOUBLE THE PRICE, LESS QUALITY and VERY LITTLE QUANTITY! Thus now the police are going after street vendors to try and force us to PAY MORE FOR LESS SO THE GOVERNMENT MAKES MONEY! Again please don't be fooled. Cost $140 for 7grams (of the cheapest option) in NY after taxes. You could pick up that same 1/4 ounce through the black market for half that. Quality is about the same. While its nice to have a shop one can get it at legally, the long lines and 2 hours it takes to make a puchase, combined with high cost makes it still cheaper, faster and overall easier to just call the same connections you have been calling for 30 years.
Yup - canada where it is legal still has a thriving black market - nothing else has changed - legalizing was basically nothing. It was very anti-climatic. People make a huge deal about it and then it happens and oh look it just is.
new York's current gray market is where it's at. There are a bunch of dispensaries waiting for a license who are just operating anyway. That's the dispensaries you need to find.
definitely, and I for sure actually did not expect juuuuuust how expensive. cartridges are hilariously and obnoxiously overpriced at like, baseline $60 per gram cartridge. The .5 boutique carts are just throwing money away, for anyone out there trying to smoke on the smart; just get yourself a high % thc batch of garlic gmo cookies and one bowl will have you higher than a cart for like, two weeks longer. Even in the most free state for cannabis, you have to jump through so many hoops.
Correct. I live in Reno and in Nevada you cannot grow if you’re within 25 miles of dispensary. I’m thrilled it’s legal but it typically comes with lots of civil restrictions. Bring legal is step 1
The reason why they're putting so many regulations on the marijuana growers is because the pharmaceutical companies, they want to take it over soon as soon as it come off a schedule 1.

I’ve heard that hemp rope is much stronger than regular rope and clothing made out of hemp is much stronger and durable.
Daughter gave me some of the nicest lotion I ever had: made with hemp
🕊
Hemp has numerous uses from paper to clothing, grows quickly and without water requirements of other crops. WHEN it's legalized federally you'll see entire new industries. For now, lobbies for things like the cotton and lumber industries are trying to preserve the status quo. Since money essentially controls politics it'll take a tip of the balance, but when that happens we'll see a flood of products that are both high quality and relatively inexpensive. Less of a carbon footprint as well.
That is true. Also furniture with hemp always seems to be stronger and more durable. Clothing. Ropes, twine, etc. It's good for so many things. Every part of the plant, not just the high the bud gives. Its God's gift to the world.
It's like america never banned alcohol before

There is an official .gov link to the video from the US National Archives. It became public in 1990 after 45 years of government and media censorship.
what everyone should do is make sure that if they vote to make it recreational or medical, Make SURE that A. You read the bill so no shady things can be passed, and that B. Personal Growing is allowed. Those are the two important things to do.
