I have made this banana bread many many times, and everyone always loves it and asks for the recipe. I might have shared the recipe with at least 5 people.
    The best banana bread ever.

Here's me watching an 'international chef' in order to find a better recipe than the ones I have already. Then, I find out it's from Cape Breton, just like me! Too funny! Thanks Donal, love your videos, don't ever change.

Oh thank god you addressed the scale vs measuring cups thing! Please people, buy a scale, those cost 10 USD on amazon. For those who studied science is madness to measure weight in a volume recipient... not every solid has the same volume-weight proportion. Cups works for liquids, and not even all of them! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thanks Donal, I made this banana bread today and it came out AMAZING! It's such a simple and easy recipe. Not tedious and I used just one bowl n a spatula. Easy-peasy to make and absolutely soft and moreish. Everyone in my family loved the taste and the texture. Thanks a ton 💕

This is so close to my banana bread recipe. I do it by heart now. Only difference is my recipe calls for sour cream. Not sure what it adds to the recipe but I have constant family requests for mine. Thanks for the distraction from the day. I really do appreciate it.

I've baked a Washington apple cake since I think 2001. I've become known in my family for it. Even though I've made it many times over the years, I still go back to either the online recipe I Googled or the handwritten version of it I did.

I am soooo happy I met the woman behind this recipe!!!! I've done this banana bread for YEARS, since you uploaded the recipe, it is the best banana bread in the world, not crazy spices, pure banana flavor (since I live in a tropical country I always have ripe bananas on hand). I don't even feel like adding the chocolate, I eat it with Nutella anyway 😁

Love me some banana bread! My banana bread recipe calls for 4 large bananas and is so-o-o good! I'm not a chocolate chip banana bread person either, Aunty. Mine usually has walnuts... but to each your own. I've had my recipe for 50 years and it was old when I got it, so not sure where or when it originated.
    - I can't keep bananas fresh for 3 or 4 days here... 2 and they start to turn brown. Not sure why but I suspect they spray them with more ripener before they ship them.
A good tip - When your bananas get "old" and you no longer want to eat them, toss them into the freezer and use them when you're making banana bread or smoothies. Works a charm and you always have bananas ready to use. Although they can be frozen in their skins, I suggest you remove the skins and put them into plastic zipper bags or containers. The skins can be difficult to remove when frozen.
