Good idea on the back basket. Arm chair warrior time, I think you might need a support coming from the back bolt to the bottom of your back rack on a angle. There is just a lot of leverage working against you with it being out so far. I think the basket itself is fine, its the tubular rack that it is mounted to might be the weak link. I could be wrong, don't ask my wife on that, lol. Just trying to help prevent damage in the long run. Looking forward to your ice fishing videos.
It has worked good but if I get the sno mo stuck there isn't anything to grab and lift out with the rack in the way. My kids drive the sno mo around the house alot. Last winter we had tons of snow and I had to take it off because they kept getting stuck. But if you don't drive in deep snow no problem, KPO.
Yes most of the time I go with a sled behind the snomo. Also when we ride off trail this rack is in the way if you get stuck. But it has a time and place, KPO.
You should add mounts to the side so you can put your auger actually on it and carry on the outside and the motor on the inside and that would give you more room
That's a great idea. I did give that some thought while building. The one thing I wanted was to just put the sno mo in the back of the truck and go down the road. I want the entire auger secure and covered from road salt as I'm driving. Nothing to unpack and store in the truck while driving. Your idea would add a lot of room though. Maybe the mounts could be optional if a guy needs the room, thanks, KPO.
You know if you use a piece of PVC that's big enough for the auger to set inside of then that would protect it from the salt it also make it secure if you put caps on the ends and wouldn't add that much weight to it and when you're not carrying your auger in it that will give you another spot to carry something else
You got me now. I was thinking more like a gun rack which wouldn't protect it, but the PVC would work. I may price some today! Thanks for the interest, KPO
Great video sir. Thank you for sharing
You are very welcome
Nice idea with the cargo carrier. Lightweight and plenty of room
Thanks for watching Tim, KPO.

Daniel, thanks for that comment, KPO.

Beefie, believe me I thought about that. I'll have to keep an eye on things. Thanks for the support, KPO.

Nice! Careful when you’re popping wheelies!
The box will act as a wheelie bar so I don't flip, KPO.
What’s that white stuff all over the ground? Love the new intro Dave. Good tips and tricks on the cargo rack 👍
You know the U.P., so you know what that stuff is, LOL. Thanks for noticing the new intro and thanks for the support, KPO.
Nice build
Thanks man, KPO.

This is what I'd like to do, thing is fishing lake superior requires a hut a lot of the time, so that would be a tight squeeze

That's gonna break
Nice idea, thanks for sharing. Your 1 minute intro is way to long.
You're right John, I have since shortened it to 27 sec. Thanks
