Hi i have a ps4 white light problem and need advice.
So i traded a faulty xbox one original for a supposed faulty ps4 original from a person that fixes consoles that wanted the Xbox for spares.
So on the day i got home with the ps4 i used my ps3 cables to power it on and it miraculously powered on which surprised me as the controller was connected properly using the usb cable.
But i saw the screen flash black then back to the home screen which i didn't know what is was then it did it once more and was displaying perfectly.
After about 5 mins of waiting for it too show some errors or switching off because i did not expect it to work i plugged in my usb speakers to the other usb port on the front while the controller was plugged in.
That was when the screen went black instantly. I didn't know what happened and pressed the eject button and a copy of GTA 5 came out which means the console was still powered on.
When i plug the controller and speakers in on my ps3 super slim at the same time is says too many devices drawing power something like that.
So i think it drew too much power on the ps4 and caused a wlod on the ps4.
Im trying to do a home repair with minimal tools and if you could give me some idea of what the usb ports could have shorted eg a transistor or fuses or something.
It still powers on and everything but that was the defining factor i think that contributed to the white light of death.
Any recommendations would help as ive watched a lot of CZcams videos and most are the ic chip or some transistor .
Its a original ps4 with wlod 1116A
@@teamafot3001 check the Hdmi Port, then check the filters and then check the Panasonic video IC chip
Hey there, my PS4 fell and part of its chassis has gone over the power button. Whenever I turn it on it turns off soon later, any advice on how to fix this?

Instructions unclear, didn’t know I had to be a damn IT expert and have surgery experience to just clean my ps4 this was the only video I could find about this particular model and of course it starts with completely gutting it. Me and my brother were taking apart the ps2 as children and easily putting it back together. This is just too much. Now I’m without a ps4 thanks to this

This is about as simple as it gets, plus any old ps4 slim video would've worked. Just follow the steps backwards

Whats the difference between the (Days of play Limited Edition) 2019 slim model compared to a regular slim model?
Also if i switch the To SSD 2TB
Will it do the Full (500 mbs) read/write ? Or will the CUH-2215B motherboard limit it to less ( mbs) ?
My ps4 has the same model number but my Bluetooth antenna is on the backside of the ps4 on the top directly under the top cover does this change how I have to take it apart?

It's my first time and this is so intimidating.
It’s designed that way so that when you try it yourself you break it and either have to buy a new one or being it to an expert and spend more money than needed. My ps2 used to be like 4 screws and you would be able to easily clean it. Now they purposely make things small and intricate so that you’ll break it easily. It sucks but we live in a weird world where you can’t do things yourself anymore.

Yea, you must be very careful with those annoying ribbon cables. Broke mine once but that cable similar to the one in the laptop power button so I bought it online from China.

Yes just make sure you dont pull out the connector from the mainboard

Oh it's near the heatsink , that's cojtasin a black screw,
Under the heatsink there's a 3 hokes there one for screw and 2 for edge of that piece ,it's present also in the 12 serirs
are u talking about a sliver disk with to prongs about a cenimeter wide? and if so is it important

Where do I install the external antenna on a PS4 slim? There's not hardly any space to install it...
This model ps4 has an internal wifi antenna. That's why there is no spot for an external. I believe you can use an upgraded wifi antenna that connects to the ethernet port, I think.
I actually figure out a spot to make a hole. All the ps4's have the internal antenna.
I opened the same ps4 to clean it up but I little piece fell off and I don’t know where it goes is like a circle with 2 legs is metal
It holds one of the long power supply screws. Goes on the mainboard

blue ray disc stopped working, not taking or ejecting discs

@@brynx24 your disc drive controller which is unfortunately built in on the board is broken. Sometimes it can be a fuse. Specifically F202. Hope that helps

Most of my nails are stripped from the previous owner opening it i could not get inside it to clean it 😢
You can use a dremel to make those screws flatheads and open with a flathead screwdriver

By making it a flathead using a dremel or you can use a small drill to drill through it
