    Thank you for the video I will probably be looking at more of your videos since I am a first timer putting together a 1960 ford f100. Thanks again

    I really appreciate it. Upside: my cab are clean and freshly painted. Downside: I didn't pull it apart. Someone pulled it apart painted it and I ended up with it. I certainly may reach out in the future for for other stuff. I appreciate your time brother. Be blessed.

      Anytime. Me and the guys are always willing to help. Sometimes dealing with other people's work can be a problem. Hopefully they did a decent job. Take care and feel free to hit me up with any other questions.

    Great video! I'm just about to put door seals on my 60. Your video should help me a lot.

      I appreciate that! Yes, I might just take you up on that offer. I watched your other video of the 57 and like that you are trying to help others getting into the hobby. I'm documenting my build with videos primarily to so the inspector when it comes time to get it registered, but I decided to put them on CZcams because I thought it might help others too. I'm doing a very different build than yours, a 60 on a full crown vic frame, but if you're interested, check it out czcams.com/play/PLxgT6O0WhjnjrNK_F9t1rItrZfBQLvJjq.html

    I come across a 1960 hood for sale with an emblem. The guys name is James Bennett and he posted it on Facebook. (Through F100 builds, parts and projects page)

    Good video and helpful.Did you put in new door glass runs? If so where did you get them?

    • @HyndzyteEngineering
      @HyndzyteEngineering  Před rokem

      Yes I did. I bought a kit from Dennis Carpenter Ford Parts. It wasn't horrible but if I was to do it again, I would probably do more research to see if there was a better product available. Thanks for watchin.

    Great video. I'm going to order some door weather strip for my '53 F100. Even though the doors are shaped a little different, the principles seem to be the same. My question is, did you apply the adhesive on the door or the weather strip?

    • @HyndzyteEngineering
      @HyndzyteEngineering  Před rokem

      Thanks for watchin! I applied the majority of the adhesive to the door. In a couple of the trickier spots, I applied it to both. Good luck!

    I'm looking for Your video for the back Glass I've got a 58 for f100. I'm trying trying to see how hard it is to replace everything myself. Thanks. Love your truck

      Thanks. I thought I had done a video on the back glass and door glass replacement but I scrolled thru and don't see it. I'm sure u can find someone else doing one on CZcams. They are fairly simple to replace. You just have to be very patient..... Good luck! 👍

    Are these better than the lmc
    Seals,Would u know? Or are they different in design?
    I ask cus I used lmc,my doors wouldn't close right...ended up discarding seals. Trying to find better fitting ones. Could u show close up pics of what ur seals look like? Thx man

    • @HyndzyteEngineering
      @HyndzyteEngineering  Před 3 lety

      I haven't used LMC seals before. I would definitely recommend the Dennis Carpenter rubber products though. I bought the kit for my truck (57) that came with the windshield, back glass and door seals. All fit great. I can try to send you some close up pics. Send me your email address. Ours is hyndzyteengineering@gmail.com.

    We’re they really hard to close before you let them sit in the sun? I just did mine and the door barley wants to close now

    • @HyndzyteEngineering
      @HyndzyteEngineering  Před rokem

      They were pretty tight. Sitting in the heat for a while with them shut completely made a noticeable difference.

    I'm curious how you lowered your 57

    • @HyndzyteEngineering
      @HyndzyteEngineering  Před 3 lety

      The front is a 4" drop axle from Sid's. I also pulled a couple leaf springs on each side. As mentioned in my intro video (check it out if you havent), it started with a horrible bump steer problem. Had to work that out. The rear of the frame has been c-notched 5" and I flipped the rear end to the top of the leaf springs. Please subscribe if you haven't and watch my continued journey. The truck will only be "done" if I decide to sell it at some point... More to come....

      It's been a while since I did those but I believe they came from Dennis Carpenter. Worked amazing. Doors were hard to shut after install but I left the truck outside with the doors shut on a nice hot sunny day and they were perfect after that. Thanks for watchin!
