    I don't believe it! A helpful video with no BillnTed guitar sting, no wassurp bro, no hand pointing down to a subscribe button. Yay!

    Thank you for this walkthrough. It is far better than the product video provided by Rigid Audio. Now I have a more informed perspective on buying this.

    Thank you for a useful and informative walkthrough, rather than an advertisement or someone just going through some presets.

      It’s always good to get under the hood and see what is possible with these libraries. Thanks for watching!

    Hello Stephen :) I have a lot of Rigid Audio Libraries. I have a Stompbox, Cinematrix, Aquivier, Sodium, Orbital, Metawave, Atheos :) Every Library that I have are really awesome and easy to work with :) I really appreciate your review of new thing from RA :) Greetings from Poland :)

    Thank you for pointing out the function of the controls for this little beauty. Very clear and direct. So I just subscribed. Also, I just bought Grainstates based on your recommendation. I do own other Rigid Audio products but it always helps to have a really good explanation to get the creativity started. Thanks!

    This was a very useful reveal and tutorial and it’s a great sounding and versatile instrument ...so I purchased it immediately for £4.46....cheaper than chips !!!

      Definitely a great intro deal. What I like is this instrument makes you think differently and that can open up a lot of creativity.

      Inflation ...I checked recently and the instrument now costs £63 quit a bit more than chips but easily worth the asking price. I’m a fan of Granular synths ...I’m currently working with the IOS version of Spacecraft with the vision of creating a Kontakt library derived from Labs Choir samples . I absolutely adore Labs Choir ..it has a reverence about it . Some of the harmonics generated in Spacecraft from the L/B samples to my ears are staggeringly beautiful and mysterious , so it these frequencies which will form the library. 🙏🙏🏿👍

    Your video walktthus are incredible. You should have many more subscribers. How did you specifically bounce the Native Instruments Acoustic Strumming patch @ 10:00 Did you bounce to audio in your DAW or in the Acoustic Strumming VST? I assume you can save all your custom wave files that you add into Grainstates--you did not show that in your video.

      Thanks for watching! Do spread the word as I would love to get up to 1000 subscribers. Yes, what I did in Logic was hold down a note for a while on my keyboard then bounce in place the midi to create an audio version. I then exported that as a WAV file which I dragged into Grainstates. I took a slight shortcut in the video to save time showing all those steps. Hope that helps.

    Can you tell me how you created the "blank" patch? I have not been able to find that option.

    • @StephenTallamyMusic
      @StephenTallamyMusic  Před 3 lety +1

      For that I took one of the built-in patches (doesn’t matter which one) and then went through each state and set the grain position in the sequencer to be mostly flat in each state and set the other controls to an even level. Then I just went up to the save icon and saved the patch as blank.nki
