Would be a mistake to do this with stock 300e. You need upgraded transmission, suspension, brakes, ect. Most quality turbo kits cost $5-10k with everything. Be willing to invest $15k+ if you want to turbo a stock m104 past 350hp
Make sure to flush your radiator fluid and put in fresh mercedes coolant every 2 years to avoid a voltage issue that leads to blown head gaskets. That is the main issue with the m104. I wouldn't put a turbo on it unless you are prepared to modify the transmission and every other component outside the engine. $20k is what it will cost you to do it correctly. The same price as getting a 2.8 with 40k miles in mint condition lol
We utilize NGK5013 or NGK5014 on most of our project as we have all the data on these coils and have tested them to 11.000 RPM and also under big boost load without any issues
How is it possible to access the Factory ECU? Do you add a Piggy Back Computer? I would like to turbo Charge My 1994 E320 and can handle the Mechanical side of things.
Absolutely awesome I have one of these engines waiting to be built so much unsung potential in them. Awesome 😎
Really nice build, I have the exact same engine ready to go turbo. What boost pressure was it at and what con rods did you use?
Hey guys, love the build! What turbo did you use? Also where are you based? Will be interest in mapping some of my cars as well!
Hi, we are based in Denmark, Europe. The car is actually running on a ebay turbo
Lovely, what turbo did you use from eBay? Thank you!
