1 cup carrots, roughly chopped (2 carrots)
1/2 sweet yellow onion, roughly chopped
1 large piece of garlic
4 pieces of ginger
1/4 cup grape seed oil or neutral oil
1/4 cup rice vinegar ( I like to add a little more since I like it tart)
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp ketchup
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Teriyaki Sauce:
1 piece of ginger
1 large garlic clove, smashed
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup sake
2 Tbsp mirin
1/3 cup chicken broth
2 Tbsp sugar
Corn starch slurry: 2 tsp corn stach in 1 Tbsp water
