Cannot wait to play this on my PS5. I have so enjoyed this on my PC and will continue to play it on that platform as well as console. Bit the bullet and went for the Ultimate Edition. What the heck, we only live once so might as well enjoy it. I plan to take vacation days when this launches on console so I can really explore this new format.
I know we won't be able to build massive zoos, but I hope we can at least build medium sized ones with detail.
I think we could build a big zoo because it has a huge zoo complexity meter more than planet coaster

I’ve said this another few places but I’m thinking that the fact they announced the console edition early is basically a test of the market, if they have strong console sales, then they will probably keep making animal packs with minimal free update tweaks, but if not then the March pack will be the last

i've been waiting for this to happen, when i was a kid i loved playing zoo tycoon 2 it still be one of THE games in my life, so having this game brings me a lot of nostalgia and i'm so excited to play it and play hundred of hours
Would love to see an aquatic pack in the future. Zoo Tycoon 2 had one! I would love to be able to create aquariums and more underground water enclosures.
The Planet Zoo community is sooo good, I'm honestly surprised it's still going this strong! Excited to have all of our console friends join us at the end of March ❤
This game has convinced me to try and upgrade to Xbox Series X; I’m seriously excited for this!
Bro me and my brother have been trying to get it since 2019 and he got a pc which was not powerful enough and then he forgot about it then I saw the trailer and then we learned it was X/S only and just yesterday he got a Series S and we pre ordered for 120$😮💨 that was a lot to type
So looking forward to this!
My ps5 is waiting😂 , I really think it’ll be a lot of fun to at least introduce player to the game especially if they ever upgrade to pc
I have already pre-ordered the ultimate edition of planet zoo ps5, and in October 2024 I have a PC, and on that PC I will buy and play the ultimate edition of planet zoo
This isn't for me but I love planet coaster on my PS5. Frontier did say they would be releasing a new game by the end of the year, hopefully it's planet coaster 2! Or at least get a big update for planet coaster 🤷♂️
My main concern on console is going to be the building limit.
Me too, in fact on console there is a construction limit, while on PC there is no construction limit because it depends on the hardware, but I hope that medium sized zoos or a little more can be done
right... I don't want to be spending upwards of $120 on the game if all I can do is build tiny little zoos at poor frame rates

I just pre ordered the deluxe edition, i only paid under 5 dollars up front and the rest i will pay vack slowly each month, still love zoo tycoon ultimate animal collection where there is no limit like planet zoo and planet coaster but am looking forward to see what limit there is

Planet coaster both PC and Console edition, as well as Planet Zoo on PC had this feature, so I’d say there’s a pretty good chance

It would be nice to have all the dlcs at once, but releasing them over the span of a year will keep me coming back instead of playing it a ton and getting burned out in two months
my only fear are the controls, i hope they wont be as bad as on planet coaster.

Will be waiting years for that. That game isn't even finished yet. It's just a small team slowly working on it. PC will need the full release first which is still far away
