I'm optimism that the girl is now in a better place, in a foster home. Otherwise, she would've learned whatever her father did. To bad for him he chose an armed victim, so ended up dead.

I grew up in this neighborhood and I don’t remember it ever being this bad. There’s certainly is something wrong with the world when people feel empowered to commit such horrible crimes against their fellow brothers and sisters. As a parent, I weep for that poor child and I hope she knows nothing but love and compassion from the people around her for the rest of her life. As a fellow member of the human race I hope that killer gets his comeuppance, post haste.

Police arrested Joseph Morros, the guy who shot 30 yr old Tykeem Berry in the chest at THAT [an] Inwood BODEGA [wine, grocery & deli store]. The victim Tykeem Berry has 19 prior arrests & police are looking at whether that had anything to do with the shooting, or whether this was a chance dispute.
The shooter, Joseph Morros, is charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Note: Inwood is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Manhattan, at the northern tip of Manhattan Island, in the U.S. state of New York.

Apparently they released him now and haven’t pressed formal charges, but they’re still thinking about it?! I mean imagine some stranger starts shooting at you and you don’t have a gun and you start wrestling with him as he gets shots off at you and to defend yourself and your gf on a moving subway car, so you take his gun and shoot back and they see this on video and still decide to arrest you???? Like wtf are you supposed to do?? Let him shoot you? You’re on a moving subway car with a deranged gunman idk… it’s like they want martial law for when the election rolls around or something. The killer's name is Joseph Morros and he was jumped a few days prior by the black dude and some other dudes. That was the reason he got shot. Anyway, the joseph dude is in jail.. He got caught like 2 days after this happened.
