i randomly click on a video and now i have to go buy stuff on amazon i'd never even heard of three minutes ago because i'm so grossed out.
One of my closest friends is a dentist and she once told me that using a tongue scraper may damage the taste buds, if done with excess force. Rather than risk hurting the papillae, she advised to use the toothbrush and brush the tongue, using less force. I've been using a toothbrush for years and I honestly don't have any complaints.

I've always figured I was fine with scrubbing my tongue with my toothbrush in the morning and before I went to bed seeing as I've never really had issues with my teeth. ( just 1 cavity when I was teen) but its such a simple thing to do, so making it another part of my teeth brushing routine should be easy to do. (Hopefully) lol :)

This is embarrassing but I used to suffer from really bad breath. A couple of years ago I saw this video & started scraping my tongue daily. Doing that along with some other simple (& in hindsight actually very obvious) things has made a HUGE difference in my oral health. I used to just brush my teeth really well. Now I also scrape my tongue, brush the roof of my mouth, brush my gums, & use mouthwash that doesn’t cause dry mouth. I’ve also had my wisdom teeth removed that had cavities (cavities also cause bad breath) & now I can clean the back of my mouth much better. People don’t randomly offer me mints anymore 😅 I also plan to use dental probiotics in the near future just to make sure that the balance of healthy bacteria is good because I’ve read that’s important as well. I hope this helps someone else who is brushing really well but still has bad breath.
