Getting Lost in Vietnam Fishing Village

- I caught a boat from Nha Trang over to Hon Mieu island where there is a floating fishing village. I had never been there before and did not know what to expect. After arriving on the island I started walking around and at around 4:30 into the video I was called into a house by some locals who decided to feed me plenty of beer (you must drink every last drop) and lots of awesome local fish. The dipping sauce alone is amazing but the quality of the fish and the shell fish was amazing. I had urchin, shell fish crab, several scale fish and squid. Was it worth it? Absolutely! I feel grateful to them for taking me into experience the local cuisine from the floating fishing village near Nha Trang.
From Nha Trang you can explore four islands on an island hopping tour where you will see this fishing village in the Tri Nguyen islands.

This was awesome...Way to get out of the city and explore the country side...Given the recency of industrialization i imagine this to be a closer picture of what Vietnam life was and is really like...Way to Go! Nice expedition off the beaten path!

Vietnam is very safe!!! Just be mindful with the traffic!!!
