The last one is called a Delladio (or also Parolari) and isn't banned and is still occasionally performed. The middle one is banned because you stand on the bar and doing it over the lower bar is even more dangerous because you risk hitting your head as you go past. The first is banned because it is not permitted to sit or stand on the upper bar anymore.
When he did the middle one, he wasn't even doing it over a lower bar so he wasn't even doing the banned dismount. The same dismount in the other direction would be legal.
@FFKonoko i don't think that would count as standing on the bar because after her hands came off the bar, her feet left the bar from the side. Was she ever hands free supported on the bar by her feet? I don't think that the rule states that you can never have your feet intentionally touching the bar, just that you can't stand on it. I looked at the rulebook, but I could be wrong. For instance, I am pretty sure that a toe-on Marinich and a Nabieva are other legal movements where they put their feet on the bar.
That one where the woman swung over the lower bar to dismount is a total hazard lol. imagine braining yourself or catching the bar in the chin as you're flying over it 💀
elements usually get banned because they are too dangerous to perform - have either caused a lot of injuries or there just is a low chance if performing them safely!
Some are banned because they don't come out of a swing or lead into a swing. No more sitting, standing, or posing on the bar. ( many decades ago, bar poses were a thing.)
I don’t think many people realize that a huge part of being a gymnast is being fearless, I was a gymnast for many years but could not shake the fear factor
It really highlights the difference in physique , the lady is moving very lightly and gracefully and the man is muscling his way through to the point that a mistake was using too much power
Just highlights the difference in practice, those women probably did those dismounts thousands of times while they're doing it on like the third time. If they worked on making it graceful it'd look good as well.
Not really. Making a routine seem "smooth" is something that isn't required of any gymnasts, instead it is a natural side-effect made through thoroughly practiced technique and form. Women will look more "smooth" and "light" because they literally have a more softened out physiques and much lighter bodies compared to the bulked out hulks that are male gymnasts, making the shake on the bar less noticeable and seemingly less impactful. Even still you can see how graceful male gymnasts can be, like Kasper Fardan, Epke Zonderland, Sam Mikulak and many more.
@@kaihocompanyOr… the women could learn a dismount this quickly as well when they have years of experience? These guys do national competitions. I’d be worried if they couldn’t learn moves like this in a day at this point

the last one isnt banned just very uncommon but people still do it someone is doing it right now in international competition.
I believe Sarah Voss (GER) performs it as her dismount if not this season at least 2020 American Cup last time I seen her compete it

The last dismount isn't actually banned. A Romanian gymnast competed it at the European championships this year
They may be using their countries standards for domestic competitions
it might be banned in other countries though
