You have such clean work! Beautiful! I have a question tho (dont mind me im still new) why not just glue the fabric right to the book cover?i just made my first journal and i glued the fabric right to the cover.
You can definitely glue it straight to the cover if you want! With some thinner fabrics the glue can seep through, and some other fabrics don't adhere well. This method creates a barrier for the glue and a smooth surface to attach to your chipboard or book cover.
I’ve used your method except in reverse. Works too. But now I have two pieces of fabric. A patterned cotton and I want a satin as the backing. Can I do this instead of paper? Perhaps I need a sampler. But wondering if in long term, would they separate?
