This predator was dead regardless if Naru lost because of what he did when he fought her bro, he ran. He cloaked and hid instead of continuing with the honorable fight. He even has a shoulder cannon which is a mistake because I know for a fact he didn’t slay no xenomorph, because of the timeline.
He didn’t have a plasmacaster (the shoulder cannon), just that crossbow thing and the targeting system in the biomask. And yeah, his fight with Taabe was in breach of their code of honor because he cloaked himself. Taabe would’ve won in fair combat.
The Feral Predator is clearly unblooded since he you can see that he’s not as skilled as other predators that we’ve seen. Had it been someone like Scar, or The Jungle Hunter Naru would’ve died.
How foolish! The predator knows that the laser aims and targets the weapon, but then it fails to realise that the laser targets its own head? Thought it to be knowing the basics of targeting its own weaponry no?
@@BadgerUKvideountil his very last scream, Feral didn’t realise what was actually happening in that confrontation. Only when he saw the mask’s activated targeting system he finally figured out that Naru was hunting him.
@@refulgent_fantaTrue. I thought i'd wrote that. I'm assuming I was trying to say his targeting system was on manual/ not currently engaged/ not relevant. Either that or my memory's playing ticks on me and I updated what I thought I thought upon reading your comment.
@@BadgerUKvideo I assume forgetting to disengage the auto targeting is a simple case of neglect on his part, due to lack of experience. We saw him earlier that day make the exact same mistake. Taabe hit with his spear, knock’s off the mask but Feral fires anyway - and missed the shot. That’s when Naru noticed the javelins always hit the lasers even with the mask off. Her entire plan was in fact a bit of a gamble relying on his rookie mistakes and terrible aim.

He had no idea the targeting system was in the tree. He was acting under the assumption he was using manual aiming.
