We've collected just about everything so only one episode left!
QOTD: What is your biggest accomplishment in a Borderlands title?
One time, I killed a psycho midget and it dropped a sawbar. Most lucky I've been in borderlands.
@@jingboy7 Sawbar is awesome!
Perfect corrosive sandhawk
Getting OP8 by myself for the first time. I was so excited to finally be on the level as my brother
Finishing the story. me and my friends keep restarting over and over. it took over 2 years for me to get through the main story with them on NORMAL MODE
I once broke the pot next to Ellie in flamerock refuge and rolled a perfect avenger
That's a crazy roll!
That’s epic. Once killed a spiderant and got a Tunguska.
My first ever pearl was an avenger that was a world drop from a loader.
I got a perfect roll avenger from the red chest near Rouge in hammerlock DLC
I’m always sceptical when people say ‘perfect roll’
My biggest accomplishment is that I still play Bl2,my dad introduced it to me and I’ve loved it ever since. RIP dad
QOTD: I remember playing with my friend a long time ago on Xbox 360 when the legendary drop rates were still 1/100, and we got two bunker SMG’s on the story kills in a row. They were the only legendaries we ever got on Xbox 360.
Nice!
First time beating terramorphous always stands out in my mind. That first “invincible” kill is always monumental to any borderlands grind
dope
QOTD, honestly getting an OP 10 Ogre drop on our first farm a few months back when i was doing a playthrough with my friend, especially since my friend died in wave 2 and i didn't think i would be able to survive till the end, let alone get an ogre drop.
It just reminded me of the good old days where us two used to play this game all day and this was something we both wanted to get but were never able to until then.
My greatest accomplishment would have to be sitting down for eight hours and rolling the slots in sanctuary for a legendary.
Did you get one? If so, which?
I think my biggest acomplishment and favorite memory in my borderlands career definitely has to be rolling the tina slots and getting an avenger in normal mode it was the first pearl drop I've ever gotten.
that is insanely lucky
QOTD: Before I owned BL2 for myself, I played it at a friends house. I Instantly fell in love with the game and memorized EVERY SINGLE DROP before I even had the game in my own hands. I stayed up every night for a couple weeks just studying the wiki when I was like 12. I knew all the drops before I even knew what all the bosses looked like lmao
I think doing the lord of the ring easter egg amazed me as a kid more than anything i did after. It seemed so hard to me back there
My biggest accomplishment would be beating Craw in BL1.
I'm a very casual gamer so i never really thought about doing it but watching your playthroughs made me REALLY want to achieve this goal.
nice that's really cool to here!
While not farming the wizards in Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, I got a perfect Stormfront.
I once beat haderax first try by running around as krieg for over 45 minutes trying to figure out how to beat him. You said biggest, not proudest!
Joltz: Today will not be painful
Pete, Uranus and Hector: And who decided that?
My biggest Borderlands accomplishment was beating the story in Borderlands 3, I grow up playing Borderlands 2 and it was amazing to see how the characters changed and develop over the course of the main story
You have such enjoyable content joltz your doing everything right
I once was messing with weapons and other items parts, and I unlocked all parts for all items, so I was playing a custom run with Maya and at bunker he dropped a 98% sham because of maliwan parts! So cool!
I’m convinced I got a lime yellow drop in bl2 in Saturn’s map. It was an invader from the red chest above the building in his “arena.”
I was new to the game so I didn’t realize what it was.
my greatest achievement in bl2 was doing a month long co-op run with my friend. we struggled through everything together and eventually made it to level 80. we did all the raid bosses and made tons of inside jokes along the way. figuring out modding and building together was so much fun, hands down best borderlands experience!
QOTD: probably getting a matching grip Cobra in Bl2 PSVR. I know how underpowered it gets for UVHM, but damn did it feel good to lay waste against the remaining enemies left on the map.
My biggest accomplishment would probably be footage of a Tubby Pyscho Midget during a story run of Sawtooth Cauldron.
Rolling a pearl in the Tina slots, having that euphoria of doing that in I thiiiink TVHM was amazing
I have successfully watched every one of Joltzdude139 Borderlands runs multiple times
Wow, it threw me off way too much when you said locker with a shelf.😅
My brain wasn't ready for you actually saying it the right way.😂
Being able to build and solo raid bosses in every Borderlands game has always been a huge fun factor, end goal, and accomplishment. My favorite is the Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite in BL3. Yet my biggest was solo’ing the dragons in Tiny Tina’s Assult in BL2. First clear was tough but so satisfying. Wish I got a better Omen though XD.
I watched all of the 94 sham farm videos from Joltz! That's my biggest accomplishment.
My greatest accomplishment in BL2 was getting an Unkempt Harold at lvl11 on Kreig and getting all the way through the base NVHM without Bloodsplosion
I love when Joltz says ENGORGE!
Killer six having fun with his tediore zane and then there is just you
i spent a few hours farming a perfect slagging slagga from tector hodunk. i now understand at least part of the pain you put yourself through for the perfection series lmao.
Got a bone shredder/savior from bone head When i was playing as sniper mordecai on the xbox360.love you videos keep up the good work.❤
I once first timed a Tunguska from the loot midgets, on my first farm of them in my life :) love that launcher
Me and my friend were playing together BL2 a few months ago, and while farming Captain Flynt for Thunderball Fist we rolled two pearls from his chest back to back - first one was a matching grip Butcher, the second one was a Storm
When I was farming Mick Zaford to level 80 on my Tediore Axton playthrough he dropped an avenger and I'm also very proud of taking that run all the way to op3
Side note: I feel your pain with not struggling to kill pete. I tried many times on that playthrough to kill Hyperius with the Avenger but without a grenader class mod I just wasn't able to do so I actually never got either of the seraphs in that run. Also i ran into the exact same situation wtih not saturn where I couldn't kill him with my ammo supplies. I had gotten an avenger at that point though so what I did was I kid you not, I just held the avenger with its painful 1 ammo per second ammo regen and ate dinner and I'm pretty sure when I came back I wasn't even full on ammo but I did get the kill eveantually.
Also I don't really remember having that much trouble with Hector. my guess is since I was level 80 at the time I had a lot of Axton's tanky skills like Grit that let me get through the fight
Think my best borderlands achievement so far is either getting a perfect cobra in BL2 or a God roll x2 Super Shredder in BL3
Probably the first time I killed Haderax legit. It took a few hours to figure out slag stopped healing, but once I did, he was still a tough fight, but I felt so satisfied when I did kill him.
I randomly did the Orphan Maker mission on my first Sal playthrough and rolled a perfect one on the first try. Matching grip and rustlers with torgue stock. That thing carried me from lvl 24 to the end of normal mode doing deputy build 😂
I remember when I first played through the Fight For Sanctuary DLC, one of the first infected enemies I killed dropped the Nirvana. Only realized it was a 1% drop chance from one of your videos LOL!
Mine was getting a world drop Serpens from a badass skag in the final claptrap dlc area right before fighting Knox trap and I was screaming. Definitely my luckiest moment in borderlands history
Late answer but in accordance to the lootsplosion of the last episode. I remember running double salvador with a buddy on ps4 and we got a perfect DPUH and a Perfect slow hands on the story kill for badassasaurus and piston, and then ANOTHER perfect DPUH on the lootsplosion. We were screaming for like 5 minutes from the insane luck.
QOTD: when i was playing borderlands 1 for the first time, i didn't get that many legendaries. And my first ever legendary was an ajax ogre! I didn't know how rare it was until i discovered your channel. I was so suprised lol.
I farmed for the Muse class mod for Amara that had +3 in Illuminated Fist and Melee damage on the bottom. After getting around 250 Muses, I finally got it and ran up the street screaming. It was changed to not be able to roll +3 later on so I was glad I farmed it when I did.
landing a 720 barrel roll through the hole in the rock when you siege mr shank’s prison in the knoxx DLC
My greatest achievement in borderlands was when I beat UVHM for the first time. It was tough because it didn’t know how to properly build a character and it felt awesome to beat it
For sure getting that 94% Sham. I still can remember the day I got it I was SO happy.
my biggest accomplishment was a no gun run through all the dlcs and the main game with Lrieg back when OP Levels didn't exist. And I loved every second of it.
At the start of one of my playthroughs, I got a hornet from the ice piles right outside claptraps place on the way to fight knuckledragger
I got a low level fire Plasma Caster as early as the Boom Bewm fight.
It wasn't from the boss or anything, it was from a rakk I decided to shoot for max exp gain. One of them swooped down to the arena and dropped it.
If the old Gearbox forums weren't dead then I could've dug out the screenshot, but sadly that's gone now. But I vividly remember it. That Krieg was probably the single luckiest character I've ever had. First try bladed slag Rubi, first try slag Rapier, and so on.
When BL2 first came out on release day I got the Hornet from Knuckle Dragger on story kill, the Bonus Package from Boom Bewm 1st kill as well and the Thunder ball fists from Captain Flint. Then a few days later the Sham from Bunker on story kill as well.
My first time farming the Sandhawk I got a god roll (matching stock and grip, flying and corrosive) in about 10 runs. I was so mad when they announced like a week later that the Lilith DLC would raise the level cap.
Jacobs grip, rustler's orphan maker first try was my biggest achievement 🤣
My biggest accomplishment was back to back pearlescants from Craw in Bl1.
idk if this the biggest but looking back im proud to have done my first world record op0 melee zero terra a while back (not a wr anymore though) and this was my first steps into the bl2 time trials and the feedback was very nice and welcoming!
My biggest acomplishment happened just a few days ago when I got a Hammer Buster from a dumpster in Thousand Cuts. Just thinking about how guns in dumpsters are already pretty rare, and the fact that they're almost never green or above, that had to be an incredibly low chance.
I faintly remember farming bunker on the ps4 version of bl2 after watching one of your videos to try and get a sham and I got dropped the avenger perle, idk how rare it is but it was cool cause it was my first ever perle I saw
Favorite accomplishment if you could call it one, was performing the Evil Smasher glitch back in the day for the first time. was probably around 10 years ago at this point.
Me and my brother's first pearl back in BL1 was a nemesis invader. I thought it was weird that the effect was the same as the invader, but didn't realize at the time how impossibly lucky we were. Unfortunately this was on our PS3 that we no longer have, so I have no proof lol.
My biggest accomplishment was getting a cobra drop just randomly whilst going through the beatdown, I wasn’t paying attention then bam, cobra. Best feeling ever
"And our chosen comment is going to be from Myth-"
YO! LET'S GOO!!
"-Nik"
...Sonuvabitch
LMAOOO IM SO SORRY MY GAMER
back on the 360 I got an e-tech dart and the thunder ball fist from 2 boxes in scooters at the same time
I once got a conference call pre nerf from the red chest where the bad a constructor spawns. I farmed warrior with no luck for so long and already had a bee on me. I was so excited
First thing that comes to mind with the QoTD is how the other day when playing with my buddy, I pulled a stalker out of one of the boxes in sanctuary
2 player gunless axtons is mine and my friends' biggest achievement in borderlands, that was one of the runs of all time.
I think the craziest thing that happened to me was first playthrough of BL3 I found a Maggie in a skagpile at the start of the game
For the Pete bloodsplosion you need to make sure the rats that spawn during the bloodsplosion chain get slagged, not just Pete.
Got a legendary eridian in BL1 from a random knoxx trooper, actually tweeted you about it and you said it was awesome :)
Perfect dpuh from savage lee
For the QOTD, very casual player here, but I will never forget the pure shock of finding some random Skullmasher in a pile of stalker poo in bl2. I didnt even know it was possible at all to get legendaries from piles of poo, even low chance.
Getting the Infection Cleaner for HEctor Boss fight might be a good idea, it's fire and you can farm it pretty easily, the drop rate from the New Pandrora enemies is pretty high
Deliverance might be decent, since you can chuck it over the wall and wait for it to home on Hector, you might need a fire Deliverance though
also maybe fire gunnerang, but single pellet, since the double one you have deals half the damage on reload
I once got 4 Serpens in one armoury run, none of them were perfect rolls but by the forth one I was SCREAMING
My biggest accomplishment has been somehow getting 3 friends to buy the pandora collection so we could all play borderlands together
Reflection kill on Hyperious. So great!
I got a 94 sham on my very first playthrough of BL2 on Xbox 360. But I switched to PlayStation to play the last dlc. I no longer have my Xbox but I took a picture of my Sham and now have it as a wallpaper on my PS3 for the memory
Getting my first conference call. I didn't know about the moon shoot farm, so i've farmed form months the get one practicable fire conference call, but now i'm happy :)
After multiple hunts that i didnt finish i went back and finally found the Cobra and Godfinger, the only gear i had never found in the game. So i can say ive farmed every item in BL2
I once got a perfect OP10 sham in the loot room after the leviathan. I was dumbfounded! Haha
I found a Fabled Tortise in a vendor as the Item of The Day before the RedBelly fight in the Pre-Sequel. I literally checked my setup just to make sure I had no third party stuff on.
I got a world drop quasar from a trash pile near the Eridium Blight fast travel. From that day on I always check that pile
Bl2 got a storm form bulymong pile very fitting
I got a Ajax Ogre my first time playing general knoxx when it first came out. I didn't even know hybrids were a thing.
Maybe not my biggest accomplishment but one of my favorite is I just got my friend into Borderlands and our first kill on gettle and Mobley we got perfect rolls for both the lyuda and veruc and I think it’s awesome
I once managed to get a level 37 pearl stalker from the tiny tina slots in moxxies bar. It was rhe first time i had ever seen a pearl in bl2 as up to the point i had never gone into uvhm.
When farming for my first ever Sham, I got a Sawbar from the Bunker's world drop cannon loot pool and a Tungaska from the Chest before getting a single Sham.
First time in the beatdown I got a cobra, didn’t know it was a big deal until years later
When doing the torgue grandmother raid boss mission, she had handed me a badaboom instead of a typical purple launcher. I had no idea that was even possible. I guess it pays to listen 😂
Of all the games that I actually have a record of my playtime with, Borderlands 2 is my most played game.
I once got a storm from the tiny tina slot machine randomly rolling it one time
My greatest acomplishment in borderlands 3 was doing 24 hrs of slaughter house to farm legendaries over 2000 drops
Bl2 was getting two skullcrushers in the tiny tina dlc from random lootables both were identical aswell
The pre sequel was pushing myself to finish a playthrough as claytrap 😊
Getting the norfleet after spawning vermivorous felt like finishing the game when I did it for the first time
Playing with my dad, we were early game (just got to Three Horns) and a Bullymong broke a pile and a Hammer Buster was inside.
Getting a Norfleet(or some other ETech Launcher projectile, i cant tell them apart, im a noob) Assault rifle on my first randomizer run. I was still clearing sawtooth tvhm with it, i got it at lvl 35. It also worked for rocket jumping. And the spread pattern was akin to the sandhawk, so it only said one projectile but it was multiple.(Might also just have been janky randomizer display and not the spread pattern. Probably was actually.) It was amazing for rocket jumping, murder, and everything else.
i booted up bl2 like 6months ago and replayed it with a bunch a friends. we were sham farming in solo, joking about the 94 sham when i legitimately actually got it. we had an hour long argument abt whether or not i had any mods on. maybe the craziest thing i’ve ever done statistically.
On my first borderlands 2 playthrough I got the fire bee from the bloodshot stronghold, not sure which enemy dropped it though. It was my first ever legendary
QOTD, once broke a Handsome Jack statue in the Digistruct Peak and got a Sawbar lol
I got a double stinger savior in bl1 on my Lilith. Nothing lived after that.
Spawned Vermivorous on my first try in Tundra Express and he got hit by the train and died. I have the video saved too, funniest thing ever
QOTD: I've only ever found one Kickcharger in BL3 and it was a cryo god roll. It didn’t have the anointment I wanted (200% splash), but I only needed to reroll it once to get the right one. The craziest part is that I wasn’t even looking for anything in particular. I was just playing Arms Race to take a break from the pain of farming a perfect Clairvoyance masher lol.
While I was farming the twister for the first time I got a double spawn of triple O, and got a twister from one of them :D
my biggest borderlands title, was doing a one life series run. i died 17 times in the presequel due to gravity stuff and missing jumps, but eventually after 600 hours i was able to carefully beat 1,2,presequel, and 3 one life.(this was before wonderlands came out) but im not going back to do wonderlands, because i feel if i tagged it onto the series life challenge, if i died in wonderlands id have to restart from 1 and honestly im not in the mood to play presequel however many more times
its not my hardest 1 life challenge ive ever done. but for borderlands serie its my biggest accomplishment. my hardest was a mass effect 1 life, as in shepard has 1 life, throughout all 3 mass effect games. that one took me about 3 thousand hours to complete.
Biggest accomplishment will forever be my first legendary. During my first run of BL2, I was running through wildlife reserve, I didn't know about the loot midgets or anything, I think I even picked the echo. Anyway, right before bloodwing I opened a random chest and a loot midget popped out, I killed him and I rolled an explosive fastball. Bloodwing didn't last long.
