like others have said, if you grab a world burn real quick and switch the ahab for it you will speed this farm up considerably. you can one tap Terra on op10 with it.
I'm sure you have killed Terramorphous under the ledge we have dropped from hundreds of times.....ever watched a legendary legendary fly out of the map? For me, from under the ledge, the loot flys up and flings off of the map

For me it is the PERFECT SHAM. Of course i have the stupid thing duped for me.
HOWEVER, literal years of farming it has never EVER not once dropped. I got an almost perfect but it wasn’t it 😶🫥

I'm pretty sure somebody out there has been farming for the perfect hide for I don't know probably months or years now and they're still farming it lol it's like they devoted their lives to finally get it and be the first.
I’ve been playing a lot of pre-sequel lately and it the Hide of Terra and the Shooting Star shields both have the same model by the looks of it.
Obviously they’re both Maylay shields but they have the same paint job on em
The hide of terra has a more chance of win the lottery
At the point where it says 525 runs and 11 hides and its putting it into perspective for me for how rare this shield is, even with 10 spawns per run.
I got 2 in just 1 kill and needless to say, being spooned from that is definitely an understatement

I remember i only got one in more than 2000 farm. but I stopped when i had all the skins and heads
Someone should write a program that assigns a ranking to every possible combination. If there’s a best, there’s a worst. There’s a second best, second worst. A 100th place, 1,000,000th place, and 10M place. You get the picture. You put in your parts, get a number back of it’s ranking. The fun is in seeing how high up you can get. Because you’ll probably never get (edit:the perfect) one, and it’s only a duality, “Did i get it : yes/no.” Be cool to say, “i got the 87th best one out of 97M.”
That's actually a really neat concept! If you have all the data it wouldn't be too bad.
@@Ashenboi I would imagine it would be easy assigning the vast majority to a ranking. There’s probably some combinations that are greater than/less than their respective parts.
@erosxcaos well I mean you'd just have to find the data within the game that assigns different bonuses based on parts. Once you do that it's as simple as deriving a formula for a ranking system

All Maliwan parts. Which is like the Re-Volter but 1 in 100.000 gazillion is the best combination.
Positive note: the chance for god roll Re-Volter is higher than this god roll shield.
No, it's not. 1 in 27,000 roughly for perfect Re-Volter. 1 in 97 million for perfect Hide.
The sentence about the Salvador glitch could have ended at the word glitch to be honest with you.

At least 2725 terra kills
1 in 227 that you get a hide of terra on average
2725/12 = 227……
That hide also needs to be grounded prefix with perfect parts, I think I saw somewhere that it's a 1 in 95 million.
@@chrisditto8701 well I was just going with the numbers of the video.
As you say in reality there is a ton of drops from terra and the fact that you need a grounded is not making it better. I’ve never seen a legit god roll terra in game.
That is also why I was curious to see if we can see a legit drop. Or at least estimate how long it would take to get one. Since the game has been modified, that he only increased spawn rates as he said… but it’s hard to prove without like the speed running community destroying dreams run with math in minecraft. I’m not gonna sit down and calculate it.
The thing with RNG is that someone can get it on their first try and someone else might never get it.

are maliwan parts weighted to be rarer than other parts? otherwise i get why its rare simply because theres way too many shield parts, yet if its still just another roll for a hide, i feel like someone might have gotten one once.
Statistically yes with the amount of people playing the game and times terra should have been killed by now yes one should have dropped and maybe more

I both do and do not understand this one, i understand the allure to obtaining the most RARE item in the game, and i understand not wanting to do it on the hardest difficulty (OP 10 is pointless). I do not however understand severely buffing the chances of finding it? For a couple reasons. If you cut a 1/97,000,000 drop chance to a 1/19,000,000~ not only do are you still gonna take months or years of daily grinding to find it, but when you finally do you'll always have these GIANT asterisks next to the achievement like *spawn x5 multiplier/*rare drop tracker on map/*spawn point set.. like? idk imo it no longer FEELS like the rarest item in the game but maybe im the weird one. idk if id have the heart to do it but im sure glad to see K6 back on borderlands 2 and cant wait to watch this grind!
All I’m doing is eliminating running across a map and load screens. Nothing here increases the drop rate. It’s still 1 in 97 million per Terra kill.

That's a world drop. It's rare, but happens.
just beat the game on TVHM and got zero legendaries, nothing but greens and blues. even farming savage lee for an hour got me nothing but white drops from him. not sure if my game is bugged

At 2:13 when you explain the loot notifications, you can see the item that dropped on the icons. You could check that way if it is easier for you vs going and checking all the loot after. But I understand wanting to show everyone the drops, too

0. Just stop at level 80. Everything beyond that is just inflated enemy health values and you don’t get any bonuses to loot or money or anything
