G3 support replied me that they only support Windows 11 but it seems a Bios issue.
Anyone is having these USB issues with G3 ?
Thanks
Try turning off "secure boot", there are a few bios options that could mess up loading Linux based distros.
I'll see if I can give it a test when I have some time... Post if you have it sorted
Can this play 3ds?
Is this ok if i use it to run illustrator and photoshop? Or should i get the older mini pc with i7-6700t processor? Both are on similar price range. Someone?
N100 = Far lower energy consumption, 6-7 generations newer i7-6700t = faster, can support dual channel memory. TBH out of them two the i7-6700t is quicker, but you should take into account the age of other things in the system such as motherboard, power supply, and storage. They don't last forever and may need replacing.
How can you use Batocera if windows 11 is the operating system? Do you have to install it on an usb drive?
Yes, that's right.
Install it on a usb drive and start Batocera OS from there.
Hi there, which Mini PC can handle HDCP 2.2?
Which setup is capable in general?
Thank's :-)
Not this one, or most from intel as a matter of fact... Check out one of the Ryzen mini pcs we've reviewed recently. They're all good to go 🙂
@@TeamPandory Hi @TeamPandory
Thanks for your fast response 👍which many PC can handle AV1 coding / decoding
Hey there 🙂 I've just ordered a barebones G3 using your code [Thanks 👍]
I need to order a SODIMM for it... and I was wondering if it actually worked with a DDR5 module
(I know the N100 in theory supports DDR5, but I can't remember if it is device specific)
If you have a DDR5 SODIMM to hand, it'd be super helpful if you could test if it worked ??
(I'm less worried about any performance increase, more about having a more modern part that I could re-use in future!)
Hey there, unfortunately DDR4 won't fit into a DDR5 slot and vice versa.
Hope that helps 😸
Great upgrade from the Raspberry Pi
Can’t use the promo code :/
Emulation is the way to go
If i buy this mini pc berebone .and also buy the kinhank 12tb with many games .im i going to be able to play them?? It just that i dont know nothing about computers .memory .rams etc ..
You'd need to add compatible memory, but yes. That should work, provided the game/ emulator isn't on the heavy side.
This computer won't be able to play PS3 games, but up to PS3 should be fine.
If you're totally clueless, it'd be safer to get a machine already with memory and storage already installed

Does anyone have Bluetooth gamepad Problems in batocera 38, when WiFi is turned on?
After connecting my gmktec with WiFi, my Bluetooth gamepad has latency Problems. (Tried for 3 different gamepads, and for all the Same Problem)
I have Input delays and Sometimes the Buttons dont Work at all.
My gmktec is connected in the 2,4 and 5 GHz frequency wifi. I switched to 5 ghz-only, but unfortunatelly nothing changed at all.
Any ideas? Thanks!
Which systems / games have you tried to emulate?
If you can give more info I'll see if I can replicate your problem.
@@TeamPandory the latency Problems Start from the Moment, when I Connect my Bluetooth Controller. So already in the UI.
I have the latency Problems in the whole system, so in the UI, as Well as for all emulators
@@kadiryazici1558 are you using a TV or monitor ? - and have you tried plugging up another wired controller ?
N100 it's a great value beast !
I don't think it's value can be beat for a mini pc tbh. Can easily recommend this to any family member as a solid runner.
Hi, does this mini PC already include batocera?
No. Batocera is free for download on the Batocera website. Used an old 2.5" External SSD via usb port, but any good usb memory stick should suffice.
@@TeamPandory ok tanks 👌
Where is the win11 product key? In BIOS or on a sticker? I want to blast win11, install debian12, and possibly go back to win11. Perhaps I should register win11 pro to my mickeysoft account first?
Why is 3DS using citra often ignored during emulation testing?
Mainly because of the dual screen setup, we'll have some N100 3DS footage soon I promise :-)
@@TeamPandory I'm gonna hold on to that promise of yours...
I just creamed
Any coupons to get it for 99? :)
This thing has 2.5G?!
Also, I'm subscribing purely for the "KENSINGTON!".
Yeah, apparently so... Only have a 1gb router though. 😬
... Oh ... And Kensington!!!!! 😂
Is this all you need? Other than a monitor of course. I've been looking for a cheap mediocre PC setup, and have a monitor.
The barebones needs memory, storage and an OS, but the models outside that (8+512gb etc) have everything included. You'd just need monitor, keyboard and mouse... Maybe speakers
Seems like GMK is now main content sponsor 🤣
They're the only company willing to send us anything 😂
@@TeamPandory that's a shame... you run the best reviews, hands on and none nonsense... maybe except for John Luke
@@anno5936 that guy is a pain 😂👍

This is much better value than the raspberry pi 5 !
I ordered and used coupon code above referenced. If it is not clear, this is a BAREBONES offer for $99. Packaging is good. The unit comes with a power supply, mtg. brackets, brief owner manual and HDMI cable. The unit has NO RAM and NO STORAGE. Regards,
Sweet review.
"Yakuza 0 at 720p, 45 frames per second. Not Ideal."
While here I am, playing on a Switch with Xenoblade Chronicles 3 at less than 30fps and most likely 720p on a 4K TV. XD
I'm amazed at how well these games look under integrated graphics! And what a sweet deal for $100! N100 processors are so energy efficient. I'd love to build a NAS with this CPU. But so far, there's only one motherboard that I know of with this CPU...but it lacks many expansions.
Amazing. 22 watts under load!
60fps for the win!
- But yes, the game is definitely playable. :-)
If there is sata 3 support, it is perfect for NAS
Lmao at the "audio altered" section.
Team pandory they have the M9-N200 mini pc from more fine o have been waiting for this one please do a video
Hey there.
The N200 had interested me in the past, but looking at the price, they move into the range of Ryzen territory. The cost of this unit could be elevated as other companies aren't covering the N200 (or N305) chipset We'll take a look if the price dips.
If you're really in need of a review, check out the review by @Robtech . He has covered the Morefine M9 N200 on his channel.
At 7:41 how to make FPS show like that?
In batocera, you can click it on in the main menu. Show the performance overlay.
@@TeamPandory It's won't show up at main page of batocrea .Normally i press start>system>frontend>show fps but never meet performance overlay before. Can you guide me to right dirrection. Thanks
@@thaigamecenter1530 It's in the Overlays section. I think there's also an area that has stats in the developer options too.
No USB-C :(
could you test rainbow six siege on the n100?
Yeah I may do eventually. Got lots of things to do and too little time 😂
great vid, the discount code don't work
This Mini PC only has one DDR4 ram slot I assume?
Yes, the Intel N95 and N100 only supports one slot
Not bad at all for that price! Especially considering how much the new raspberry pi's are going for!
How much are they the 5 for? I'm pretty certain the 4 is still pretty steep over here in Japan.
@@TeamPandory Around £80 but it depends on ram size and that too. Processor wise I don't think the new pi is that great at all and considering the fact you have to build it and maybe buy extras I'd have to say that this is a much better option, especially for emulation. Is 4k tho
Do we know delivery times? Website doesn’t say
Not a clue, would depend on location.
Sending around the world with the chance of shipping delays (usually when things are checked on import), you can see why they'd not want to write something that isn't certain.
ordered mine a week ago and they still have not even shipped it. delivery etas are on their site tho
@@eatdirtdouche Considering others have also been covering it including ETA prime, they may have an order backlog.
@@TeamPandory yes. they basically said as much when i complained via email lol. was just nice for them to reply, as well as you.
@@eatdirtdouche That's the thing, I think GMKtec aren't a huge company, so they go the extra mile when someone has an issue... The thing is, they've actually designed some of the mini pcs for other brands, such as Beelink, who famously flipped their design upside down.
You'll be okay, give it a week. Grab a cup of tea... Start playing one of those games on Steam that you've been putting off for years... Maybe Star Citizen is out?
Voucher has expired 😢
Why intel doesn't Include HDCP 2.2 support on the N100 boggles my mind. Like come on intel, that's some real nickel and dime tactics.
It's probably as it needs to be licensed and need to shell out extra bucks for the privilege... But it's DRM ... Boo DRM!!!
Can you load linux on it?
Batocera itself is a Linux distro. I'm sure others will work fine, too.
Looks like the MAX storage for each SSD is 2 TB according to the specs listing.
I doubt that's the actual maximum limit, but we don't currently have any NVME larger than 2TB at hand- Check this article here : www.reddit.com/r/MiniPCs/comments/qbkndr/mini_pcs_that_list_2_tb_max_storage_whats_the_deal/
@@TeamPandory Yes , the limit should be controlled by Windows File system and not any hardware... I was wondering maybe the bios was fixed to limit it to 2TB due to Intel trying to ensure N100/n200 sales does not cut into their other lines as an artificial limit..
I hope there's a taste test..
Not sticking my tongue on that 😂

Wow 99usd 😳
Yep! Great if you have a couple of sticks handy
3:51 LIES!!!! They can't even do 1080p without dropping frames. The n100 only supports AV1 natively, and even then it doesn't really do that well.
Is it usable for a jellyfin server ?
The price increased already?
No, it'll be $99.99 with the coupon code "PandoryG3" until November 8th. The code should be good for 50 uses.
Silly me. I thought the coupon automatically applied through your link.
FYI none of the coupon codes are valid.

There were no bananas in the house at the time, so a banana coloured Gameboy DMG had to do. 😺

This is on deal atm I'm looking to get one for emulation which option is best to buy I don't have ram and m2 so
@@-Jamie if you already have memory and SSD, then go for the barebones... But remember that it won't have windows 11- for that you need to get the ram / nvme bundle- and that usually works out cheaper than getting it yourself, as they get OEM versions.
