Just go & listen to the poppy sounds of What About Now. Its an AMAZING song, Richie ..... just like you are as an Amazing person!

For me, this Richie's best solo song EVER. We all should know what it's about, and unfortunately it's not a happy time. Eighteen years ago yesterday...9/11. If he would just sing like this, I would probably appreciate his solo work a lot more.

Digging the fact Richie isn't tight to releasing stuff we expect. The upside of not being with Bon Jovi at this time is that Richie can truly do what he wants. As a tribute song this sounds really honest. No big hit, no big production, probably one take, but that ain't bad. I like it when he stretches more when he sings but i take this song for what it is. The guy surprises me again. Can't be said from anything that has Jon's signature on it. Pure artistic wise, i will always go with Sambora.

I love collaborations. It's always something more than what either would create on their own. I hear the voices of those stuck in the eighties that think he should only be writing hard rock songs because that's what they think of when they hear his name. I don't think I'm alone when I say that I grew up and don't want to listed to the same loud music I used to. So, why should "rockers" be expected to always do the same hard edge music that they did 30 years ago? I like his mix Nowadays.
