    ive taken the hero s10 that i have to thrash around. its the 18aH model so it gave me some deck space for a larger controller. i was going to use a 45a sucker with a ukc1 display but it was physically too large to go in the deck lol. so i opted for one of my 35a 48v controllers i had from the older frakenscoot i first built. these things can take 72v internally ;) only just managed to fit in there. but damn. this is the best single motor scoot ive ever ridden now! lol especially with the front end suspension sorted out. (would like the neck locking mech tho) motor also stayed cool after the hill climbing and thrash. win!

      its a fairly generic ebike/ scooter controller. 35a 60v gt100 lcd. :)

    i own the dragon beast and quite happy with it i find something strange is the speed i can do, it says it can do 75km/h but i can actually almost do 90 down hill slightly on flat i can go 82 km/h. i really want to test my speed with other peoples 60v or 72v ive tried looking online for group ride but no luck, surprisingly i dont live to far from you. nice vids on modding scooters
    oh i forgot to add that the scooter weighs quite abit 40kg's i weigh around 70-75kgs so i am sorta light

      this is single motor and 52v ;), set ur wheel diameter on the lcd to 10.2 instead of the factory 11.0 and u'll have a more accurate speed reading.

    Dang... 77 on a 52v single motor Hero!! You're crazy lmao. I don't think a Hero was designed to go that sorta speed!.. i'm surprised it held up. Just thinking of what it may do at 72v with a motor swap. Talk about a major sleeper then!

    • @highwaltage
      @highwaltage  Před 2 lety +1

      no need to motor swap. i liked the coil winds on these motors as soon as i rode one first time! they are calling for more amps lol. stayed cool the whole ride. warm not hot at most. these on 72v would probs be over 150kph freewheel. also extremely stable at speed this rig :) no wobbles at all.

    Need GPS speed those controllers are usually way out

    • @highwaltage
      @highwaltage  Před 2 lety +1

      They are usually 7kms out. Unless you change your wheel diameter to match gps. I usually do that on the 11imch hubs. 10 inchers are close enough as is with room for safety. Well aware its not actual speed. But a reference of for others. Since the other scoots 10 inches and below ive not adjusted the wheel diameter to match. So no point doing it now. Just keep it in mind that posted is slightly higher than actual and you wont get cut by posted lcd speeds. Gps is shit for me in my area. Known blackspot. People cant even call me at home lol. Also im too poor for a fancy new phone. Ive got my trusty kzoom. Almost a decade old lol.
