    Hello, You will break the unit putting the screwdriver where you show it being inserted. Look at your owners manual! It shows a rectangle recessed area in the center where you took the key out. THAT is where you put the screwdriver to remove the back off without damaging the circut board.

    • @MichaelWayne87
      @MichaelWayne87  Před 4 lety +1

      No one else has had this issue. I believe being forceful is what will break it

    • @ThankfulBen
      @ThankfulBen Před 4 lety +1

      @@MichaelWayne87, Ralph Minotto is correct. The correct way to open it is pictured in the owner's manual. You can't say, "No one else has had this issue." You can only say, "I don't know of anyone else who has had this issue."

      @Thom7953 Před 3 lety

      Michael has an issue using proper grammar. Note: 1, we’re not all “guys” 2, the key from the fob works perfectly to insert in the center slot, no need to insert it past that point. 🥸

    Thx for the vid. Super helpful. Whether you use daily or not, 2032 batteries will all die at the same time like clockwork, so best practice is when you change out one, change them all out.

    this is wrong unless you want to mangle the plastic. simply put the screwdriver in the center of the remote and make a quarter turn and it pops open.
