The more you have of one, the more you get of that one.
Suppose you have 1 Cryptid and 2 Ceres. You've got a 67% chance of getting another Ceres from Perkeo. Then at 1 Cryptid and 3 Ceres, it jumps up to 75% chance of getting another Ceres. And it keeps snowballing.
It's not a matter of valuing one over the other. It's a matter of wanting to maintain a balance, and the balance I'm going for is maybe 20% Cryptids and 80% Ceres.
