@Ike N yea the final design was approved by 1988. For example the first Lexus LX was unveiled in late 1995, but the final design for the second gen was approved by mid 1995
Picked up a free 1992 ES300. Needs lots of TLC and slight front end damage. The hood and radiator support beam are bent slightly. Hope to get her fixed add new tires and down the road. She starts right up and drives pretty smooth considering it’s 27 years old.
Lexus really had the ads right. I remember being transfixed by them as a child.
I agree. I remember being young in the 90’s and thinking how classy these commercials looked and sounded. You knew it was a remarkable luxury brand.
