This album was out 46 years ago. I know because yesterday was our 46th wedding anniversary. The first few months of marriage we listened to this album a lot. We even named our first daughter Sarah after Sarah Smiles. Love Hall and Oates. Glad you love them too. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

Man, your last 2 reaction vids take me back to my high school days. The Old Grey Whistle Test was England's version of The Midnight Special and Don Kirshner's Rock Concert here in the States and many of the great artist at the time performed on it. 🙏👏

Saw H&O live at Mountain Aire, 1981 in Angels Camp, California. Opened with Billy Squier, then H&O and closed by Journey. Of course, being a Northern California venue folks went nuts for Journey, but I actually thought H&O were on fire. Good reaction that triggers great memories. Thanks!

This was the first song I ever remember hearing by Hall and Oates. I had heard the song on the radio lots and lots. I was totally surprised when I saw them on TV and found out they were white.
I have loved them since I heard my mom listening to them in 1981. The Live at The Apollo album is sooo.... good. The version Adult Education on there is fire.
Saw them open for Carly Simon back in the mid 90s, and I was blown away. Have to admit I always kind of underestimated them, maybe because they were everywhere in the radio back in the day.

I saw these guys live on this U.K. tour, at Newcastle City Hall. One of the greatest gigs I've ever seen, superb live sound, out-of-this-world harmonies, and what came across strongest of all - they were having as much fun performing as the audience were watching.

They did a totally different arrangement than the recorded version and it lives and breathes on its own.
