Neck pivot wasn’t on the OG 89 Batman it’s also the gold label that’s why they didn’t put the black outline on the outside of the emblem which sucks not a complete deal breaker but would’ve been better. I have a OG 89 Batman that would fit perfectly gotta love toys R us when I was growing up in the 90’s

Great review. Kinda regretting not getting this now, even though I'd have nowhere to put the Batmobile. The Keaton figure looks waaay better than the product photos, so hopefully he gets a single release in the future. Or better yet... A full '89 wave.
Mine got lost in the mail and got corrected and supposed to be here tomorrow or Saturday. Figures it’s always the hard to get items I have trouble with when it comes to Amazon. The flash Batmobile came with two of the same fins. Someone does not want me to have this vehicle easily.

I also really hope the comment the other guy made in the comments isn’t right, I don’t want more order to be cancelled especially because of all of the efforts we make as fans just to pay our hard earned money, despite not being apart of specialty programs through advertising and promoting we are all equally paying customers. I agree we all deserve our products at the same time.

Great review, this is one I was looking for! This figure definitely dethroned my SDCC Knightfall Batman as my favorite McFarlane figure to date! I would have loved some extra flame effects too!

Yep, and Amazon handled the pre orders poorly. The first time it came out, they allowed the regular 99 items limit. The second time 30 limit. The final time a week later, it was finally OK at 3 per customer. So the scalpers had an easy time hoarding the stocks.
I would have loved to own this but of course it was a competition and not a simple sales transaction like it should be. How to make this sort of thing fair, so that everyone who wants one can get one? Take presale orders for at least a few weeks, then make them. It would take longer to receive them but it would make many more people happy. Or how about when something sells out immediately make more because you know that there is a bigger demand.
I promise you, Amazon has no clue we have channels and there are channels that did not get their vehicle. Just because you saw a video doesn’t mean all channels got one. 😂
My only complaint with McFarland is that it’s almost if not impossible to put BatMans with plastic capes in the vehicles. I guess it’s smart from a business perspective. Makes you buy BatMans with soft capes. I guess I can learn to make custom capes, but I cringe at the thought of messing with some of my favorite figures.
Almost for this release, it needs leds lights, spring pop up machine guns, and a two seater canopy with leds in them, i didn't pull the trigger on it, it's a close solid release, or you can customize it?🙄Good review.
I'm glad you're happy with it, but it's not replacing my Neca Keaton. He looks too bulky, like a stuntman in the suit rather than Michael, and that mimics the black rubber look much better. I might go for the Batmobile on its own.

This car sold out in minutes. I know some people getting notices their order is being delayed...ie canceled. I'd like to get one but amazon has doubled the price on it thru various sellers. Can't belive people who want it cant get it at the regular price. Stuff like this sours me on the whole toy collecting thing. I did have the pricey spinmaster rc batmobile but returned it after 2 days because things didn't work as they should. And this preorder stuff where you pay ahead then have to wait months to get your product.......things were better and more fun years ago.

Not available on European Amazon...complete BS. I went and bought the Jada toys 1:32 model instead. McFarlane did not handle this well, but the item does look great. In your video it looks gray, Is it darker in hand? This vehicle should be black IMO.
The neck sculpt is terrible, it looks more like Bale Batman than Tim Burton's Batman. It's strange because they already had a good Burton Batman neck sculpt when they released The Flash Bat-Keaton. I don't know why they didn't use that.
So many ppl complained about Flash’s make shift Batsuit, the head and neck being combined. It was literally accurate to both movies. And if it was a separate piece, they would’ve still complained.
Sometimes I wonder if the ridiculous stuff CZcams reviewers say is because they get free stuff to shill? Like, moving the head is cool, but that pointless cut in the throat area that visually ruins the sculpt is absolutely terrible. They'll still send you free toys to shill admitting it. Lol
The chest symbol needs a black oval outline to be film accurate. Curious why they didn't mold it in black and paint the yellow.

My glow in the dark Swamp Thing was delayed a couple weeks ago and the Batmobile was delayed today, I foresee them being cancelled unfortunately.

The neck definitely looks weird. The old figures had that clip on cape around his neck, so you can barely see the articulation.
