@Randomperson2 Ancient version of Kong from Skull Island was bigger and they from and lived in Hollow Earth. This Kong is over grown of his species almost strong as his ancient species if it's not strong as his ancient species. Ancient species of Legendary Godzilla from and lives in was bigger and stronger and it was threat to ancient Kong. Some of the ancient Kong defeats some of the ancient Godzilla just like in other Kong movies some of the Kong's win against bigger threat.

The monsterverse from the Gvk novelization confirmed that Kong species and the humans share similar intelligence, and usage of tools because he has confirmed that the Kongs also have gone through agriculture similar to humans. If the kong species haven't had gone to extinction, there was a chance that thet would've used technology and othwr things like us in the future showing how the Kongs are the most human like titan to ever exist. The novelization even said it themselves.
I think the fact why kong has similar vocals is, maybe humans did evolve from the kong species in that timeline in skull island he sounded very different than Godzilla but now he sounds like a deeper Godzilla maybe it was lazy writing or his vocals really did grow up with him
i was gonna comment that his roars in that scene are my favorite because you can hear just how panicked but also how *pissed* kong is about being trapped and unable to defend himself

I like that they gave him his own iconic roar, Godzilla has had an iconic roar they remixed for the new version, and so I’m glad they gave Kong something that is uniquely his own and has (atleast for me) has become as iconic and recognizable as Godzilla’s roar

Anyone else feel they really went a unique route for Kong's roars in this? His adolescent self was still very primate, pretty much a heavier sounding Gorilla roar. But here there's like higher pitched, with a reptilian or birdlike reverberation at the ending of it like how Godzilla roars and I like that parallel it makes me think evolving in the hollow earth they diverged a bit from surface primates and adapted similar traits to the older titan specoes, cause I notice all the Titans have roars designed with a bit of reverbiration and I wonder if that was intentional design to tie them together as animals that basically have the same niche on earth and have to communicate even between species.
