As mentioned already, but to measure take the gauge and instead of having it flat. Have it upright, hook one end on the forehead in between the eyes and and then the other end if it clears the main body then it’s a short. Cool video ! 🤙🏽
Man these vids are dope y’all make me wanna go with y’all!
It always turns into some kind of adventure 🤙🏻 glad to hear you are enjoying the videos.
Awesome lobsters
Fresh water, even in ice form, will kill them after a few hours. A salt water wet towel over them will keep them good for over 24 hours. Have done this many times. Looks like a great time!
Thank you for the info, we will keep that in mind. We appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. Check out our other videos and let us know what you think. Don't forget to subscribe 👍🏼🦞
Why don’t you tell us where are you get
Lobster
Really cool video. I really want to get into lobster diving when the season starts. I’m in Ocean Beach. Have you found spots around the tide pools there? You willing to give up some cool spots in mission bay? Keep the videos up!
I found the spot
The super secret spot? Oh no!
I went to this exact same spot today at night and didn't see one. Is there a certain tide that's good for this spot?
We have been attempting to map out when the best times are as well. It seems that the days with the smallest tide variance is when the biggest lobsters are out. King tide/slack tides have been the worst time to catch any by the rocks in that spot.
@@deadeyeduo9422 ok thank you i watched the video again and a realize I went to the wrong spot
Right on! Well, if you find the spot and see us come and say hello! Good luck out there 👍
you guys have a sweet pad
Oh baby🦞
Haha you like lobster? 🦞🦞
@@deadeyeduo9422 oh yeah I love Lobster 👌👌😋😋
Very good video guys 🙋♂️
Thank you👍👍
You are 2 crazy, funny white guys. You should have more subscribers. You should study a little bit about SEO and get your videos watched. You have good enough contents, all you need is a little tweak in youtube settings. Good luck.
Thank you for the kind words, we will certainly look into that! 🤘
Word of warning, that's not how you measure them
Enlighten us good sir!
@@deadeyeduo9422 Check out CDFW's website for a diagram but if the gauge fits the length from the base of the two spines above the eyes and the trailing edge of the carapace, throw it back. Wardens are super strict on this, I know someone who got a huge ticket bc his gauge was a little bent and his bugs were actually less than 1mm too short
Ok so you are saying from the base of the spikes, not the eyes. We will check out that diagram and keep that in mind. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
@@deadeyeduo9422 Stay safe!
Thanks! You too! 🦞🔥
ayy where is that exactly
Are you asking about the super secret spot? The exact location of the super secret spot?

The link should be in our bio, but it’s dead_eye_duo.
