We all knew the big Reggae bands, but strangely, we simply put on an entire album of Ska while we partied and nobody ever asked who it was...

If I had to guess, I would say one of his more heavy influences might be Sublime. Has that sort of thrashy Reggae feeling like they did. As for part 2, that tune was from James Bond, which makes sense considering all the James Bond films he mentions in the verse ☺
