I saw this show in April and It was magnificent. I had not seen previous productions but this one - with a female lead - was fresh, original, contemporary and there could be no more fitting tribute to Sondheim's legacy.

I saw this production on the west end back in 2018 several times, and it gives me such pleasure to hear it's yet still going strong on Broadway. It is the only musical that addresses modern life - despite its age. Utterly my favourite; what other musical still addresses the lives we live today and our worries? And yet was written and debuted over 50 years ago? It's still so fresh and relevant.

I will be so sad if she wins for this over conceptualized production. No problem with the gender switching, just the excessive directorial commenting.

No she does not have, or did not have the right voice for this role. Listen to Rosalie Craig of the London version. Not robbed. Not right for the role.

The mics last night were all messed up. The show is great but the lead is not strong at all.
