Jenny's tutorials are fantastic & free. You don't appreciate all the information you get on line. When I started quilting in the 70's we had very few books & traveled miles to take classes. If you watch DON'T complain. You are lucky quilters like to SHARE.
This was very entertaining. Jenny you have a wonderful quick wit! Loved your response to the question about long arm and you said with a credit card. I laughed right out loud. I made some of these to contribute to a charity group making quilts for victims of a tornado. It was a great feeling to help a little.
I like the "realness" of this video! I can't tell you how many times this video mimicked my trials and tribulations in sewing. It's always two step forward and one back. But, that's how you learn. I like that everything is a family affair.

I have been a fan of MSC for years and I have 2 dresser draws full of jelly rolls and 10” square, and some of the 2 1/2 squares . At this time when we are still at home a lot and can’t have bee or Guild meetings this was a real treat! I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time! I also love the idea of using up scraps to make these little houses! I think a great quilt but also a great border! Thanks for sharing and I do have all the measurements written down. Thanks 😊

I think this quilt is totally adorable! I love your family stories. It sounds so much like my family. We had a butter fight at my house. Everyone was smearing butter all over each other, on the floor and on the walls. What a mess, but so much fun! And such a great memory!

Also, I love, love, LOVE this idea for making a scrap quilt. You can make the blocks as you have extra fabric and then just save it up to put it all together. Love it! Can't wait to start mine.

My daughter, who likes Modern quilts, saw this and instantly adored it. So now I will make her one. She turns 24 in 10 weeks, hopefully I will be finished by then.
Oh dear, I caught the "bug" and made 16 house blocks in an afternoon, plus have the pieces cut for more! So cute.

I am making one of these as a souvenir of the current corona virus pandemic. I am using photo transfer to put people in the doors of the houses - everyone staying home, staying safe. I have friends and family all over the US and in some foreign countries who have sent me pictures of themselves to include. I'm calling it "Stay Home, Stay Safe."
I must admit I ‘m pretty busy and like less talking and more tutorial, however today I just laughed my tail off. Just so fun knowing we all have these boo boos, and when we can laugh at them it sure makes for a much better day. Life is to short to take seriously. Love you all and appreciate all your tutorials. Just keep laughing .

I love these tiny houses, so cute! Gives me an excuse to use up all my scraps, that are over flowing several bins. I was thinking, I could paper piece these, or hand piece them together while watching movies.

Y'all are fabulous! So happy I found u (by accident). There are so many creative ideas out there. I'm slowly getting thru ur videos and The Man Quilt's videos. Yes, the fast talking is hard to keep up with, especially over 60. I hope I'm not missing anything by not being on Instagram or Facebook. I just don't want to spend time on them. I spend so much time watching various videos when I should be creating or doing something more constructive and get very little sleep. Thanks so much for sharing this. It was great! We’ve had so much snow that I’ve got winter fatigue, I’m in WA State. Bring on spring. Fun quilt, I love that you quilt by credit card too!
My Mom passed away two years ago. Avid quilter, she made the most beautiful quilts and hand quilted all of them. In her sewing room, I found 8 tops not quilted yet. I am in the process of finishing them for family. But, so so many other projects in process. I may finish a few of the ones that have blocks done, but goodness there are some complex unfinished ones.

The Village pattern just went free as the "Sheltering In" quilt pattern. So happy Jenny has this similar pattern

Ya know, the doggy downers that don’t like the chit chat or Josh hackling in the background, or interrupting or the live problems or issues, they should just watch everything pre recorded. I SO look forward to the natural things that happen during live. I would LOVE to watch a Facebook live on location. That could be a fun upgrade to taping! I love to see that a long time quilter has the same snags I do as a beginner. Sometimes I think I'm just really bad at it, lol. But I can see it just takes some squaring up blocks to make them prettier and pros have the same types of sewing machine eating fabric issues as I do at times.
That's the best part about the live shows... seeing that we all get those snags and hiccups sometimes!
