It will be sad to see them go. Various clips put together of Northern Rails Class 323 electric's at Guide Bridge (Ashton) on the Glossop & Hadfield Line and Heaton Chapel (Stockport) on the West Coast Main Line in January 2015.

Shame the Woodhead route closed. The 323s would have been perfect across to Penistone if the line had been reelectrified at 25kv. A missed opportunity.

In the Guide Bridge shots the catenary masts are still the original 1950s former DC system.

we are now in 2018 and that's it no more class 323s on the northern services and they are going to be replace by the new electric trains from December this year
