Awsome video! I just got an accessport as well on my 2016 focus st. When launching were you dumping the clutch? It most definitely is a bit nerv racking
Great vid! Did you need to use a tune to use launch control or could you get launch control on a stock Focus?
It actually comes with the accessport which is pretty cool, but no it’s not a stock feature with the focus
@@BenLovrien right, but do you need to use one of the OTS tunes to enable the launch control? Or can I keep stock tune and enable launch control. Sorry for asking, I can't find the answer in any forums. Thanks for the reply
It’s no problem, I think you can enable it just with the accessport even if you have a stock tune.
@@memelard7549 you’d just want to run a “stage 0” tune on the access port
I have a 2018 and I can’t get it to work. Do you have to have a Downpipe?

I got a question, did you just dump the clutch or did you let out easy, slipping it? I'm wondering if the launch control was keeping it from spinning cause it seems like it would just roast the front wheels if you dumped the clutch.
I let it out easy, you have to engage the clutch like normal and feel it out so you don’t spin too bad

As you let off the clutch easily, we’re you at full throttle or did you ease up on the gas as well?

Just set mine to 3k rev it and it went to 7k!!!! Lmao I had clutch engaged did I miss something 😂 I put it in sport mode
There's a soft cut and a hard cut, make sure to set both. I'm gonna be testing mine out for the first time today so wish me luck

Hmm not sure, we didn’t hit 60 but there is a 0-60 timer on the accessport. Maybe I’ll have to try again😂

ByRoBerT oh using launch control over not using it at all will definitely make you faster to 60
