That is really impressive! I don't have any music mixing software and I have to put tracks together in Sony Vegas but so far I had no major issues. But yeah, I have learned a lot from your "making of" videos and it really helped me with my first bootlegs, created back in April. Thanks!
How much effort do you actually spend on optimizing the sequence of songs? Or is it more or less random and you give your best to pick the best possible sections to cross-fade?
It's lots of effort and a little random too. The song order is largely determined by bpm's. Have a look at rememberdev.blogspot.com - I'm explaining it all there. =)
what is the name of this program may i ask ?? :O I'm a student in movie making and on sound mixing class we focused only on Pro tools ! This is interesting too and probably costs less to buy i presume ? :)
I'm looking forward to this very much..1998 along with 92 and 96 are the most memorable years of the nineties to me.
Thank you for doing this. I'm looking forward to this. 1998, 1999 and 2000 were the most memorable and formative years of my childhood.
Can't wait to see it
Keep up the good work on your new video on CZcams called "Remember 1998", thepeterson! : )
At last another Remember is coming! I am looking forward to it. :D

It's Adobe Audition. [Actually a very old version of it.] A step down from Pro-Tools, but still very capable.
looks like an old ass version of audition/cooledit
haha yea! I've been using it for years and never got around to getting a newer version. Plus, y'know, the price.
