Hi mates. I follow football from far away (Quebec). I did not follow Bellingham career in England. I have this question for you. Based on this clip and actual stats with Réal, is it relevant to ask if he reached Mblappe level ? It seems that some fans here already put him as the best In thé world. But… As opposed to Mbappé, Haaland, Martinez or Salah, what was his level the last two years? Some could say that we can t judge the Mbappe level as long as he don t play in an elite championship. Thank you for your answers, and please try to be respectful. I.m a hockey player enjoying football. And congrat for this video Mr Luis Football. According to me, if Bellingham keeps this pace for two years, I would put him on top with Mbappe ( I think Bellingham seemed to play as a 10 with 9 habilities to strike, while Mbappe is a 9 with good passing habilities. I would compare him with Neymar and Messi, - without the same level to dribble - instead ofa 9 like Salah, Mbappe or Haaland. So at the end of the day, he would be a more complete player. So a bit better. Next Euro will give answers I guess. And it would be time for Mbappe to try a new championship to show thé world and himself what he can achieve. Let s not forget if France win in OT against Argentina, Mbappe would be on the top of the wordl with his hat trick.
He is undoubtedly better than Mbappe this season. Everything Mbappe does must also be tempered by the fact that he plays in a weak French league.
Mbappe plays in a weak league, Haaland misses as many as he scores (Kane is already destroying his season best in the bundesliga) Salah is up there though and martinez isn't bad either, but IMO bellingham is the current king. He has walked into the biggest club on the planet and is becoming their main player - at the age of 20 that is unheard of. It just doesn't happen. It is also worth noting that mbappes hattrick came with penalty assistance. Geoff Hurst is the only man to score a hattick in a world cup final from outfield goals.
Bellingham plays everywhere, he falls back to defend and can be a striker as well, he can play as a defender, a striker, a midfielder and if you put a pair of gloves on him he would probably make a decent keeper. His strength is his versitility, the fact he has no true weakness. Haaland has a habit of missing sitters, mbappe can run and thats it and salah is not a particularly fast player.
If you ask me, Mbappe is heavily overrated. He has his speed and thats about it. During the world cup match against England, Kyle walker kept him pinned down being one of the few players capable of keeping up with him. He showed that without mbappes speed he cannot influence a game.He has no playmaking ability, no technical talanet and is an average passer.
