    In honor of Marvel's Thor: Ragnorok, we decided to go looking for sins in the studio's most-fun franchise... Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. We found some, of course, as we are wont to do. But it's not a terrible movie.
    Thursday: Recent-ish comedy sins.
    Remember, no movie is without sin! Which movie's sins should we expose next?!

      But inside you can destroy vital organs and not just the skin.
      The most stupid thing to do is attacking the skin from the inside instead of cutting whats inside, thats why they want to cut through.

    • @propheinx2250
      @propheinx2250 Před 2 lety +1

      This kinda isn't true though. Something's insides are perpetually wet and therefore more tender than the outside that's likely dry and leathery. It's also easier to continue a cut as opposed to making an incision. This means that the hard leathery outside has its defensive strength compromised by cutting through the insides. This is why snakes kill their victims first before eating them. They don't want the teeth biting their tender insides. Where those same teeth can have issues penetrating the scaly hide, they'd have little issue ripping through the snake's belly.

    • @propheinx2250
      @propheinx2250 Před 2 lety

      @@maxmustermann8167 cutting your way out would be your 1st requirement. Not a whole lot of oxygen makes it to the stomach. You're in the process of suffocation until you can cut a hole to the outside. Best to make a breathing hole, then go find the heart.

    I love this movie, and it's probably one of my favorite MCU movies, if not one of my favorite movies of all time. However, there are two things that I have issues with, both of which you brought up:
    1. The scene where Gamora convinces Peter to go with Ego should totally have been swapped.
    2. WHY THE HELL WOULD EGO CONFESS THAT HE PUT THE TUMOR IN QUILL'S MOTHER??!?

    • @ikoandreas5085
      @ikoandreas5085 Před 4 lety +25

      1. Because gamora went trough all of that shit with her parents and thanos And all of that so when she sees peter have the chance to be reunited with hes father of course she would want him to. Quill is in doubt because Ego left his mom to die without him even being there.
      2. He probably got a little cocky and just let it slip out. He is a god yeah but he still makes some mistakes

    For sin 55 at 8:21, you said he died too slow while in space. Assuming near human biology, he died too fast.
    It takes about 15 seconds for you to pass out as the oxygen in your body is used up. You wouldn't freeze right away since the heat in your body can't be expelled that fast (a vacuum is actually a decent insulator since there is nothing for the heat to transfer to, so it would slowly radiate away). And you wouldn't explode from the decrease in pressure since human skin is strong enough to hold yourself together. Assuming you don't hold your breath (which would rupture your lungs due to the pressure difference) you could survive for about 2 minutes without permanent injury if you were resuscitated. You could argue for longer if you include surviving with permanent injury.

    • @mrknockknock1
      @mrknockknock1 Před 6 lety +3

      Same dumbass excuse. Thanos was never shared a consentual connection with Gamora, and even though on paper, he could qualify as her "adoptive father", in reality, he kidnapped her and lured her innocent young self. He killed her real parents. So yeah, even though Thanos raised Gamora and truly loved her, he was not even the least bit her father. Also, even if Thanos did qualify as Gamora's actual father or actual adoptive father, Peter Quill and Gamora never got married. "Father-in-law" is a legal title applied only when that man's son/daughter is married to the son/daughter-in-law. In short, Thanos wasn't Gamora's father, not Peter's father in law, and definitely not any kind of friendly title holder to anyone. He was a madman, an enemy, a terrorizer of worlds, and deserves absolutely no respectful position from anyone.

      the pressure in your body is about 101000 Pascal's. The pressure will be so low that boiling point of liquids in your body will reduce meaning that air bubbles form in the circulatory system, which consequently impeads blood flow and due to the high pressure results in your body growing maybe twice if even thrice in size. It's not a slow death, rather it is quite quick and painful.

      You would actually pass out before space started to kill you by ebullism (blood bubbles) and asphyxiation, so it would not be painful. There is a few minutes where you could survive but, as you are unconscious, you would need someone to save you. You wouldn't even start to freeze, because heat leaves your body very slowly in a vacuum (by radiation.) I just learned this from google, come on people.
