I've got TWO Topeak DX II pumps that did this operation on themselves spontaneously somehow. Trying now to learn how to turn them BACK into useful tyre pumps....

1-what is that thing at 1:23? you said there is no valve, what is it? where can i find it?
2-you closed the hole at 1:15 then where the air gos? i dont understand how could you keep pumping

Looks like a dunlop valve core (common in bicycles)

i dont understand it, you basicly exhcange the front an rear heads ?
the piston acts as a one way valve in case of these pumps
