This right here is the problem with these school. They want to constantly starch how to “shrimp” or “forward roll” no rolling? You waste all this time trying to “warm up” but you’re not actually teaching them anything
You beat me to the punch. I was about the state exactly the same thing you stated. People are paying money to "warm up" and do drills that can be done at home. Class time is the time to learn technique and drill technique. A warm up should be five minutes minimum to ten minutes at most. Many Bjj instructors don't know how to teach and shouldn't be teaching. I learned more taking judo at the local community college for a semester years ago than many people learn as beginners at a Bjj school in the same period of time.
Dude. These people are new. If now one ever showed you how to shrimp you are in a world of hurt. I get that you want to roll, you can but hopefully new people finds a proper fundamental program to start with.
The new club manager Simon Mooney at Wetherill Park doesn’t know what he is doing and the club has been failing ever since he is there. I hope they do better make the right choice and get rid of him
