Anfield road stand extension, Near completion update.

- In this visit to Anfield you will notice things a winding down now as the build reaches near completion. the office compound has been taken away but there was still a lot going on around the site. you will also see that all seats are now in as we do a full fly around. to finish a little look at the forever stones. Missed your video's great use of the camera, you know what you are doing with it. Lovely way to end it, with so much compassion. I'm in a calm space knowing the stand will look great when it's finished. Hopefully there are no people below stressing about a missing brick etc, we all should be thankful for what we have, a great football ground built on its origins. The only thing I will miss is Klopp.

Superb as always mate, still by far the best coverage out there 👍Still some work to be done on the corner section, some of the cladding and the brickwork. The forever stones will probably get another 'sweeping' of dry grout which will fill any gaps in the pointing, and a final wash down at the same time that the brickwork get's it's washdown (the white salt/chalk deposits on the bricks is perfectly natural and a part of the drying out process. It will be easily washed off but there's no point in doing it until the stand exterior is 100% complete) By the way, the LCC have announced a £4 million upgrade and improvement project for the roads around the stadium perimeter, the full plans will be published later this month 😊
I know many buildings that have the same white stains on the brickwork. It is salpeter. Takes years to vanish. Rain will do it the next 5 years 👊👍
@@jurgenvoogt1638 It's just a deposit left on the face of the brick when the moisture it contains evaporates. The club have already appointed a specialist third party contractor to clean not just the brickwork but every other aspect of the stands exterior. I think it might well be the same company that we used when the main stand was completed.

@@jurgenvoogt1638 You'll have to explain to me what part of your comment did I say wasn't true, I wasn't challenging what you said mate, just agreeing with you as to what it is but adding that the club have employed a specialist company to clean up all the exterior brick work in the summer. If you have a problem with that I can't really help you...
Seats need to be put in place. Does not look straight next to the cladding which is also not finished. And of course the irritating missing concrete between some bricks. Love your clear videos. Seems you have another camera than the other droners. Thank you for the last 2 years.👍👊♥️

It’s been pathetic the way this expansion has gone from start to finish (and we’re still finishing it off) Due-diligence didn’t do their job properly (or did they) bringing in Buckingham whilst they were still struggling at Fulham. They were the cheapest option which says a lot about the owners bringing them in knowing their Financial situation!!!!
